Non-Symmetric 1-sample median test
I am attempting to complete a non-parametric test on skewed data that is non-symmetric. I am using the test means option in the distribution window but the Wilcoxon Signed test requires symmetry and this skewed data is non-symmetric. Is there an option to so a 1-sample sign test instead of the Wilcoxon test?

How do I plot mathematical functions with JMP?
I realize that JMP isn't a mathematical function plotter, but suppose I have a function: y=((v1+v2)*sin(v3+arcsine(v1/(v1+v2)))/sin(pi()-v3-arcsine(v1/(v1+v2))-v4/v1)-v1) ... and I'd like to plot it using Graph Builder. Is there a convenient way to do this type of thing with JMP? (preferably without resorting to JSL) Seems like it would involve building a full-factorial matrix of inputs v1 thru...

How to folding the code?
I follow the guideline fold the code, but after click it still not fold, don't know why. How to operate through JMP or how to use script to fold the content we want?
//fold below arguments as one group dt1 << Delete Rows( 10 ); //deletes row 10 dt1 << Delete Rows( {11, 12, 13} ); //deletes rows 11-13 dt1 << Delete Rows( 8 :: 25 ); //deletes first 20 rows dt1 << Delete Rows( [1 2 3] ); dt1

Different mixed model options
Under "Fit Model" I'm a little confused over how to run a proper Mixed Model. One approach seems to be to choose "Mixed Model" under "Personality" and then simply add fixed effects and random effects under the different tabs. However, the other option is to keep "Standard Least Squares" under "Personality" and then add variables that are then assigned as random effects using the red triangle drop-...

How to add mean of coordinates in bivariate plot, aka plotting Centroids
I have a series of coordinates with two types of rows. Data is in three columns: Column1(x-coordinates), Column2 (y-coordinates), and Type. After I plot them in a bivariate analysis and draw an ellipse around both groups of coordinates, I'd like to have a marker added to the center of each group marking the centroid of each group of coordinates. The marker should, preferably, match the color determ...

How to perform simple intraclass correlation to determine interrater reliability?
I'm trying to figure out the best way to complete a relatively simple intraclass correlation (ICC) analysis. In my study, three raters scored 100 performance evaluations on a 1-10 scale for various components of performance. Each rater scored each performance evaluation once. I ran the Measurement Systems Analysis platform with Rater as "X", Evaluation (1-100) as "part", and Score as "Y". I got a ...

DOE question
Hi everybody, I am quite a beginner regarding DOE and I have a small question.Basically let's say that I have an experiment with several factors. In particular I want to test a component which has two possible levels and I would like to test several concentrations ( 0, 10, 20 or 40). Therefore I created my design with a categorial factor (Component: A, B) and a discrete numeric one (Concentration:...

how to define a column as a label point in a graph by graph builder?
Hi everyone,I am familiar with Label/Unlabel, feature to make a column data as point labels in a graph. But I have different graphs and I need different column to be labeled on the points for each separately. If I label the column it will show up in all graph and I will have all the columns in the graph that does not really need that label. How I can separately have a column labeled in a graph and ...

JMP15 Mac OS Dark Mode
Is anyone having issues with Dark Mode? I have a Macbook and JMP15. There is a bug with dark mode and having gridlines on graphs, it knocks out the readability of the data tables. Even when this is on blue text which you can't change is too hard to read on black background so I want to turn it off completely. I can't see how to turn off dark mode within JMP - does anyone know where it is? Currentl...

Graph Builder - Remove Combine Scales?
In graph builder I am interested in plotting a simple Y vs X for multiple X variables. By default graph builder combines all the different X variables on the same X axis and scale. Is there a simple way to change the X axis to have separate scales on the X axis for each variable? Default graph builder (script1, graph1)Plot 1 variable on Y axis vs 8 variables on X axisAll 8 variables on same x-axis...

SharePoint Online
My company recently began the migration from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint Online. I have found that my JSL scripts are now no longer able to open or save files to the new SPO site. Anyone have the correct updated syntax for this. Example 1 (SP 2010): This worked.

Problem specifying model for a partly nested ANOVA design
My study design is mixed-model with one fixed between-plot fixed factor (A), a random plot factor (B), nested in A (B[A]), and two crossed within-plot fixed factors (C and D). I'm able to enter a full factorial model that includes the 3 fixed factors and all their interactions, using either the Least Squares or Mixed-Model Personality. I'm also able to add the random factor (B[A]), but things go...

Default encoding on JMP - EUC-KR
Hi,I have JMP 14.2, 15.1, and also 16.0EA at the moment. All versions here don't include EUC-KR encoding system; so this can cause importing problems in many cases since a lot of Korean data or pages are made with EUC-KR. I have charsets that are all broken. So I had to import it with other programs and save as to fit into UTF-8 or match/join columns with other matching codes. It seems like JMP is a...
