  • Determining sample size for powders driven by statistics

I recently read the concept of "statistical sampling." I wanted to understand if JMP has something that helps us determine the sample size to collect for powders driven by statistics (i.e. confidence interval that the entire population is being represented in the sample that I can trust my results collected on that to represent the entire population). Also, looking to learn how is the sample size ...

  • Can't implement replicate runs with JMP Pro 18

Hi, I am new to JMP Pro 18 and am finding that I can't seem to get repeated runs on my design of experiments. I am using I-optimal for RSM and am trying to add replicate runs of 3 or 2 but then when I create a table of the design of experiment I only get one column for the response and not three. Please can someone help me fix this? Kind regards, Jasim

  • Spline Curve using JPG Image

Hello!I hope you are doing well. I am new to J software and I am attempting to do a spline curve. I do not have the raw data points but rather an image I have attached below. Is it possible to load this image in J and do a spline curve? I attempted to do a load 'image' but that did not seem to work. Any guidance and help is much appreciated. Thank you.

  • Taguchi Design

Does anyone know how to design an experiment using Taguchi approach with following factors? Inner array:X1 at 2 levels x2 at 2 levelsX3 at 4 levels  Outer array: X4 at 2 levelsX5 at 2 levels   JMP DoE option only handles factors at 3 levels, how do I get round it? is there a solution or a trick? Many thanks in advance

  • How to account for sampling variability when comparing outputs of two process

I have a powder batch A from which I am drawing two samples and feeding into two different methods (A and B) of a process to determine if both methods produce the same output. However, I realize since the powder has a particle size distribution, it would mean the samples have a subset of that distribution and these sampler powders are the input for methods A and B. So when I compare the output of ...

  • JMP16: Process Performance plot, removal of 1.33 curve and triangles

In versions before JMP16, I was previously a JMP14 user, we could remove the 1.33 curve and now I also see triangles to idnetify process position.  How can I remove the Cpk1.33 curve and make everything circles.  I find these elements a bit distracting
