  • Need help with for loop and assigning journals via button boxes

Hello,  I started working with Jump on 10/12/2020, so I am very new to all of this. I have solved most of the issues with this community board but I am completely stuck with this one.  I am attempting to create a tracker for technician training, hour logs, etc. I am using a for loop to gather the information and turn it into data tables to be graphed. I then, in the same for loop, create a button ...

  • Process Screening on I-MR, control limits from within stdev?

Simple question.  Just curious if the within stdev on the IMR version is used for limits (in the absence of a specified sigma).  I'm 99% sure they are, just wanted to confirm, and didn't see this in the process screening report notes.

  • Percentual plot

Hello everybody, I plotted some data and divided the plot into two parts. One for "good" and one for "bad" - green and red columns. Is there a possibility to add a third part in the plot which displays the percentual "bad" values for the total values of the x-axis? See Images attached. Thank you.

  • How to multiply user input by a constant number?

All, I'm trying to multiply user input number by a constant. I need to use the final number (hoursBack) as a part of a web address.  local( {Name= "ABCD", daysBack = "7", formError = 1, rv}, While( formError > 0, formError = 0; rv = Dialog( Title( "Select Extract criteria" ), VList( HList( "Name:", Name= EditText( Name) ), HList( "Days Back", daysBack = EditText( ...

  • Calculate Cpk for Last 50 results

Hi, is there a simple way to calculate Cpk for only a selected number of the most recent rows by using scripts. I am looking at machine capability and although the overall Cpk is a very useful metric to identify overall process capability, once improvements have been made to the manufacturing process, I want a way to easily track if the process is improving by only looking at the Cpk for the last ...

  • Problem specifying model for a partly nested ANOVA design

My study design is mixed-model with one fixed between-plot fixed factor (A), a random plot factor (B), nested in A (B[A]), and two crossed within-plot fixed factors (C and D).  I'm able to enter a full factorial model that includes the 3 fixed factors and all their interactions, using either the Least Squares or Mixed-Model Personality.  I'm also able to add the random factor (B[A]), but things go...

#i have this attached table where the dates are submitted at the end of 12 different production steps (here column 1 to column 12). each row represent a unique production object. so i have 27 prod objects, each going through 12 prod steps; and hence have 12 prod dates. #I need to find the following: the duration required for the prod object to go from step1 or some other step to last completed ste...

  • Chart is showing data I've excluded and not using data that should be included.

I've excluded data from my table and when I'm making an xbar control chart, JMP is pulling data that's one or two data points off from what I've hidden and excluded. I've highlighted the first and last points so you can see the data JMP is using to create the points.    I dont think the colors have anything to do with it. The charts were displaying the same information before I added the colors.  ...

  • DOE for Marketing Campaign (vs A/B Testing)

Hello JMP Community, I am a data analyst and trying to use JMP DOE capability to support marketing partners with a marketing campaign. Campaign details are below, and my questions are:Questions: Based on the campaign details, is my understanding of DOE wrong? I am hoping to go beyond simply basic A/B testing and maybe for a campaign like this A/B testing is the way to go while DOE is for more comp...
