  • Filtering Pareto charts by column.

I have a very large dataset of manufacturing defect bin data.My columns are the manufacturing batch IDs (called lots), and then each column is a defect bin, with the numeric value for that particular defect bin for each lot. In JMP Pareto chart, the input needs all defect bins in one column. So, I have to make another table by stacking those defect bins using Table>Stack. This makes an even larger...

  • Scripting For loop to multiply values across row

Hi, I am fairly new to scripting in JMP and have looked through many jmp forums for solutions but haven't been successful in modifying the solutions for my particular problem. I have a script that produces a table of unknown number of columns and want to multiply each value in the row (there is only one row in the table generated) across the columns produced (column 1 * column 2 * column 3* etc). ...

  • P Control Chart ( wrong value plotted with Local Data Filter on when NG counts is zero)

Dear JMP communities,  I am having a very strange problem when trying to use P Control Chart as illustrated below:On 02/24 02/25, 02/26; at Station 2, NG counts are Zero, but the P Chart gave a non-zero value; it turned out the local Data Filter didn't work in this case, it included the Station 1 NG counts. For example on 02/25, (13+0)/(258+13)=0.048.But when NG counts is not zero (02/27), the loc...

Hier...

  • Selecting a test to determine when to end an experiment?

We have an experiment testing a population's response to a chemical with three sampling points in time. The measurements at these time points are the dosage with a significant effect on the test population.  I want to know if the measurements at the first and last time points (middle time point too) are normally equal or different. It would save money to end the experiment at sampling point 1 if t...

  • batching recoding of many columns

Hello, I've been trying to recode many columns which contain a specific string in their column name using the recode function. I think I'm pretty close but the script is getting stuck with the column evaluations. So I'm missing something crucial somewhere. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Best, Sebastien Names default to here(1); Clear log(); New Table( "Subject_Demographics", Add Rows...
