  • Selecting Cells based on color

    Hello,

After running the outlier analysis tool in JMP, I color coded the cells that contained outliers. How can I select all these cells and replace them with the name, "outlier"? The next step, would be to name all the other cells "normal".

Let me know if this is feasible. A snapshot of the datasheet in appended in this post.

  • Why are the results of "Compare of density" and "Composition of densities" different?

As the title states, I found differences in the result segments when performing density analysis. For example as the follows image, the orange data is not at a high point in "Compare of density", but it is the highest in "Composition of densities". Hope someone can help explain this reason, what is the operational difference between these two methods?

  • Measurement Errors & Yield Loss: assigning relative measurement error and computing measurement absolute errors for multiple columns

I want to estimate the absolute and relative error for a yield loss calculation that involves 10 input measurements and 15 output measurements. Think error propagation that you may have learned in chemistry lab... When is calculated yield loss < our measurement accuracy = can be ignored?

    Yield.Loss = sum(inputs)-sum(outputs) (this can be 100's of tonnes/month for a large processing facility...)

    The ...

  • Possible Trend Analysis

Hello! I have compiled some data regarding QC of some our materials. I wanted to see if it was possible JMP to analyze data like pH, slope, absorption etc. and see nay common trends in multiple samples.  We have about 8 samples for which we have about 6 continuous factors for each of the samples  Looking forward to responses !

  • Questions about Calculating Confidence Intervals in "Agreement within Raters" - Attributive Analyses

Hello everyone, I am currently analyzing "Agreement within Raters" and would like to better understand how these confidence intervals are calculated. My main questions are:What steps or methods are used to calculate confidence intervals in "Agreement within Raters" of Attributive analyses?Which statistical distribution is typically used for these calculations? Could anyone recommend some literatur...

  • Cox PH Survival plot with CI?

We're trying to run a survival analysis with Cox proportional hazards for time to reinjure knees after surgery for those who return to sport before/after 9 months with covariate of age and level of sports. I'd like to be able to generate the survival plots with 95CI's along with the analyses.
I've watched the recent tutorial but it didn't address these points.
Can anyone point me to resources to do ...

  • SPC Chart from Process Capability Settings

Hi, when using the process capability functionality and then opening the SPC charts from a selected process, my preferences for SPC are not applied to this generated chart (no shading, level labeling, etc.) is there any way to save preferences for these charts? (JMP17.2)

  • Use Limits Table In Distributions Platform

Hi, is it possible to use a limits table to load specifications grouped by some factor in platforms other than Process Screening? Ideally I'd like to use the limits table in the distributions platform. Thanks in advance, Alicia

  • Could JMP optimize factors with uncertainty?

Hello community!!,A question: will it be possible for the profiler to find the best combinations of factors with uncertainty when performing a simulation, which maximize the total utility and minimize the total cost, generating a table of the best combinations found? For example:
