  • Limit to seed number

    Hello everyone
I was wondering if there were an upper limit to the seed that we can define in JMP ?  Can we go up to the infinite or nearby ?   I am concatenating  big numbers to be able to recreate the same seed each time they occur together, but as those number are increasing with time, the seed will quickly increase as well. So far everything is running fine but I may reach values close to 10^12...

  • Repeatability threshold?

Hello everybody, I have just started to use the Measurement System Analysis and I was wondering if there exists some thresholds regarding the repeatability value or is it something  "data dependent"? Thanks in advance for your inputs!

  • ANOVA with repeated measures factors

Hello, I want to build a model for analyzing the results of an experiment I performed, the structure of the experiment as shown in the picture.I have two treatments, each treatment contains 5 hives, from each hive I chose 6 bees, I gave each bee a task that she performed 8 trials.I measured the time required to perform each trial. I consider bees and hives as random effect, each trial as repeated ...

  • Listbox Graphs

I would like to get a listbox plot similar to the script below but with  a different data format. My data looks more like the following table where all of the data to plot is in the first two columns. I want the list portion in the list box to be test count, and when I click on a test count, it produces a plot for both forward and reverse. It looks like it may be possible with a bivariate plot usi...

  • DOE - "Reverse" model

I am looking in to making a DOE design, that should result in "reverse" model. Description of the inputs and outputs: - 6 inputs that I can control during the experiments- 6 outputs that I can measure during the experiments (but not control directly) But the resulting model should make me able to predict what the input was, by measuring the outputs, thus the "reverse" model. Is there anything that...

  • What statistical tools to use to analyze 4 datasets?

I have 4x production runs with 100 in-process dimensional inspections. All 4 datasets are of the same dimension, same process but different controls/tools, and different machines/operators. What statistical analysis tools can I use to make observations about each production run and compare processes to determine the better performing process?

  • Predicting the effect of a process on a number of variables

Hi Everyone,I have a query that I'm hoping JMP and the community can resolve.I work with powders and powder rheology for additive manufacturing and use JMP to analyse rheology data. Most of our raw materials require a treatment to flow in the process, and I can see trends between the untreated and treated powders from the rheology data. I have a small dataset of powders before and after treatment,...

Hello, I am trying to do a matched sample analysis across three different factors. I wanted to:1. Confirm that my sample would be what I pick for 'Block" when I do Fit Y by X when running Friedman's test2. Is there a post hoc analysis in JMP that I can use? I dont see Nemenyi or Conover as an optionThanks for your time.
