Boosted Tree - Tuning TABLE DESIGN
I selected Boosted Tree or a regression problem after it came as the best-performing model in model screening. May I ask how to use the tuning table design to further optimize the performance of boosted tree?

Hello, I am using JMP 17 Pro for the multiple-group SEM. When I attempt to create and run the path analysis, I keep getting the error: Full Information Maximum Likelihood. Failed: Maximum Iterations Exceeded. Then under Model Comparison, there is a *Convergence FAILURE I have attempted to reduce the number of items loaded on my latent variables, and attempted combining latent variables. Is there ...
Background: Suppose I have rows of x, y data (SN_C, Value [Sigma Units]) as shown in attached file but also pasted below. Slope_8 is calculated from the previous 8 [x.y] values. I want to compare the slope_8 value to the null hypothesis for linear regression (slope =0) and provide a p-value. Is there an easy way to do this? The formula for the slope 8 was taken from these discussion boards (@txn...
Hello community, I am testing several models as part of JSL loop in JMP 16, using different validation columns to determine how the R2 values change depending on what data is used. Each validation column contains a subset of the data, with some missing data at the beginning and/or the end of the column. Other models, such as the Bootstrap, run well simply ignoring missing values but the Neural N...
I have been asked to do a linear regression using Weibull on jmp. It only seems to work for data with a positive curve (growth), however, when trying to select the Weibull for the decay data it cannot be selected. Is there a parameter I am missing or an assumption that doesn't allow me to use this model?

Hi, I want to do one hold-out cross-validation for the random forest, but I don't know if JMP pro has this option or not. If it has where can I find it?
Hi, I'm now studying the ANOM for variances. I don't understand why it needs at least three groups to start the comparison. Does anyone know the reason behind this? Thank you!
I want to feed data as three sets: train, validation, and test set to jmp. how can I do this? does jmp use test set? or just training and validation?
I'm using model screening and include XGBoost as a method. However the result from XGBoost are only shown in Train set and Validation set.Why the result of XGBoost for test set is not shown?
Hello JMP community members. Concerning the use of the Dantzig selector on big and sparse datasets.I wondered what features would be at disposal to tune the computational time.Right now it takes about 40 minutes to get a result back for a problem with 380 rows and 149 non-singular parameters. This makes me wonder about the options available to tweak the computation time. I was thinking about redu...
HI, How to find estimators of FGNLS and NLS (Seemingly Unrelated Regressions) Using JmpPro.# Note that it is present in SAS in the proc syslin
and it is in stat in the nlsur command Regards
The Predictive Modeling Using JMP Pro course is scheduled in the Live Web classroom 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm EDT, Monday-Thursday, 11-14APR2022. Learn how to build and understand predictive models such as generalized regression models, support vector machines, naive Bayes, decision trees, and neural networks. We'll also compare complex models and score new data in JMP. Click here for the course page and...
Dear JMP Community, (W10, 64-bit, JMP Pro 15.2.1) I am running a model to assess the active predictors. I am doing this by using the Autovalidation add-in to generate a Null Factor for my data. I then use the GenReg platform to find estimates for each possible X-factor and then Bootstrap those estimates to get a better assessment of the contributions to the response. I came across a very stran...
