  • Status quo levels in discrete choice experiment?

    Dear fellow researchers, I am conducting a choice-based conjoint analysis in my research. Within the experiment, I´d like to compare two alternatives to a fixed status quo per choice task. The status quo is modelled as a constant "none-option" and will be estimated as a constant. I am wondering, if I can use the levels which define the status quo also as levels for the alternatives in order to g...

  • Transpose column, make transposed rows headers in JMP12

    Does anyone know how to transform a column (just one column) and make the rows become the table header using JSL? I am using JMP12.Basically, I want the first row to be the column headers and not the output below. My dataset is attached.   Thanks,Simondt = Data Table( "sports" ) << Transpose( columns( :Items ), Output Table( "transposed" ) );

  • Making a Mixture Design that Does Not Sum to 1.0

    I am trying to make an I-optimal mixture design with 3 components that add to 0.883, with the remainder 0.117 being a fourth, but constant, ingredient. I know a possible work around is to normalize my constraints, but to avoid confusion in reporting the information I would like to have the three components add to 0.883. I have tried to add linear constraints (shown in the attached screen shot) but...

  • Where Clause in graph loop

    I have some code that is designed to build a report based on some filtering.  It will be fed two lists, the first will determine which materials get pulled (in this example that will be Gender_List), the second determining which properties get graphed (In this example that will be Property_List).   The idea being that there will be a loop through each Gender that will create a matrix of graphs for...

  • Sub-sampling data analysis in JMP

    In Biology (Plant Sci. and Agriculture) usually we have sub-sampling data for replicates. It's very difficult to analyze these data in commonly use Stat S/W (SPSS/Minitab) because MSS(Error) is calculating wrongly.  Without taking averages of samsamples, the easiest S/W for this is using JMP and I need some assistance for this. I've found very useful Youtube video about subsampling in JMP  (CRD: S...
