why is last menu hierarchy appears on the left not the right?

I assume the issue is that your window is too close to the right edge of your monitor. My quickie test had all menus appearing to the right as long as the window was sufficient distance from the right hand edge of my monitor, and then it switched to a left display of the last menu item. I tested this on a 2 monitor setup, with the test on the left side monitor.
