  • TOST analysis help

I am trying to do TOST analysis for different CQAs. I want to create forest plots, where I can have all items in one plot rather then individual one for all CQAs. I have attached examples of both combined one (from research paper) and the individual one I created in JMP. Please, see if anyone can help with this.   Thanks!

  • Simple y by x plot of events with point labels from a column with categorical info.

I have a pretty simple plot, but cannot make it work the way I intend.  I am a long time user of JMP, and have done some JSL before, but stumped by this seemingly simple request.   The attached data table shows the running total fabs in central Texas vs time.  I want the Running Total column on Y-axis and the Year on X-axis, and a text label for each data point with the Facility.     Since I am ju...

  • Converting time to time intervals and resetting based on second column values to prevent x-axis offset

I have a data table with the columns "Time" (Numeric, continuous, formatted in 12-hr h:m:s) and "Name" (Character, just a list of the experiment to which each time point is associated). When I graph using other columns not mentioned here as the Y-axis, and Time as the x-axis, the issue arises where each plot between x-grouping variables is shifted since the x-axis scale remains the same between x-...

  • JSL: Help with strange behavior for New Script command

Hello Scripters,   (W11, 64-bit, JMP Pro 18.1.1)     I'm having some strange behavior with a script that I'm running. The script does several things, but one thing that it does is to create some new scripts to add to the data table. I have to pass some variables to the New Script and have it run in the data table outside of the original JSL. I am adding two new scripts to the data table. One is fo...

  • Keep lines continuous, not dotted, in Graph Builder

Hi All,   I use the Pro version of JMP 18 and, lately, I keep running into a vexing problem with the graph builder. I have a graph with four lines and style set to continuous. Yet, graph builder makes the lines dotted, etc. Today, it started out with continuous lines that switched to interrupted lines (as shown in the picture below) after I hid and excluded some rows in the data table.   Any sugge...

  • Control Charts running slowly in JMP 18

I have recently been upgraded to JMP 18.2.1. I use Levey Jennings Control Charts very often in my job. While using JMP 17, I had been developing a script that takes a Stacked table from our database and uses the By() function to plot control charts of X(Batch) and Y(Result) for each unique Component in the Component column (By(Component)).    Since upgrading to JMP 18, I have found this functional...

  • Value labels question

Hello, I have the following problem at hand: My variables have value labels in English and I need to replace them with a language overlay of another language. I have English and other languages in a structured format.  Is there any way to export the value labels and import the new ones? With variable names, I just copy paste, which works fine. With value labels I haven't found a solution yet.

  • How to adjust the size of R plot imported with get R graphics(); ?

I'm trying to run R code in JMP to create a plot. I succeeded in importing the plot in png format, but failed to adjust the size of the plot. I can adjust the "plot_from_R" in png format with the set size(); function in jsl, but it is not proportional and distorted. How can I import plot_from_R in the size I want?   R Init(); R Submit( "\[ windows(300,100) #it doesn't work plot(function(x) dnorm(...

  • Sample size for Reliability Life Test

I have used the interval explorer for parametric reliability life test planning for sample size calculation of accelerated life test. Please can someone confirm if the sample size returned is the total sample size or sample size per stress levels? Assuming I have 3 temperature levels, do I use 75 samples per temperature level or 25?

  • Optimizing Enterprise Server Connections in JMP Live

Hello JMP Community,I’ve recently started using JMP Live to share and collaborate on statistical analyses with my team, and I’m encountering some challenges managing connections to our enterprise server. Our organization uses a centralized server to store and process data, and while the integration with JMP Live is robust, we’ve experienced occasional delays when syncing large datasets or during s...

  • Copy xy plots becomes very slow

I tried to copy a group of xy plots, it got stuck forever. I am aware that the time it takes to copy is proportional to the amount of data points. But this is the first time I had something never finished. Is there a way I can get this copy job done? Thank you!
