  • very high r squared interpreting my regression analysis results cubical scheffe polynomial

Dear community,i am using a cubical scheffe polynomial to model my system and i am having difficulties interpreting the analysis for one response. I am posting my analysis results for you to look at. Thanks in advance for your help. This are estimates for the parametes and the effect testsI have a very high r^2 which made me even more suspicious. r^2= 0.999 and of course very small residualsFinally...

  • Progression per year, with date axis for several years overlayed

I want to plot data as is progresses over the year, with one curve for each year overlaid. The way I made it so far is to use Day of year (see figure) but I would like actual dates like month-day instead. Any ideas would be welcome!

  • How to get the half evaluated form of a prediction equation

I am using fit model to built a regression equation for time and a bunch of extra factors. The end goal is to create a table in a journal that has the prediction equation evaluated for all the extra factors and show the pure intercept + slope * time based equation. Example:dt = Open("$SAMPLE_DATA\Powder Metallurgy.jmp"); fm = dt << Fit Model( Y( :Shrinkage ), Effects( :Formation Method, :Compa...

  • How to use graph builder to graph a matrix in memory

Hi All,   I have a script where I am testing out the autocorrelation of two columns in a data table. This is done on the Big Clas.jmp file.  I want to add to this script a panel that also shows the graph of the autocorrelation between the two columns -- specifically, I'm trying to graph the column called Lag and the column called Corr vs weight in the Time Series report shown above.   I can get th...

  • Life and Survival dataset

I am looking at a component within our product that is on 10000+ products in the field. Should I only be looking at failures? I have the ability to include all the products that have never had this component fail. Is it best to include those in the dataset, or should I only be looking at failures?

  • Two-way repeat measures ANOVA - data are not normally distributed

I read the previous posts on the two-way repeat measures ANOVA - Multivariate or univariate analysis, and the full factorial mixed model add-in. Now I have two questions: 1) When the data are not normally distributed, would these methods be still valid for the analysis?  Any non-parametric analysis on JMP?  I noticed that R programming may have certain packages to provide solutions, but I am not a...
