  • Making the 'automatic peak finding' work (JMP Pro V18)

I have data with very clear peaks as in the image below.  However, if I try and use the 'automatic peak finding' It identifies the right number of peaks, but they're all the same with start / stop as the beginning and end of the data for every peak. (second picture) What am I doing wrong?

  • With Fit to Window turned off, how to keep x-axis and legends always visible while scrolling in Graph Builder?

Hi JMP community, I would like to make a very large Graph Builder with many graphs sharing the same x-axis, stacked vertically with their own y-axes. Fit to Window has to be turned off, so that individual graphs will not be too small, and I can scroll through them. But it is difficult to refer to x-axis and the graph legends. Example attached using sample data. Is there a solution to keep the x-ax...

  • Looking for suggestion to use the right JMP tool

Thanks in advance for your help. I have an event history for Product1 (worth a few years). I have another product history (Product2) of just one year. Question: How do we estimate the probability Product2 resembles Product1 as time goes by? Is there a method/theory that can be used for such an analysis? If so, can we do the analysis in JMP?

  • Add column based on a user input.

I made a script which gives a pop box to enter suspected wafer list. Than it will add a column to the table with using If loop. This script is working fine when Wafer data type is Character but it doesn't work with Numerical type data type. How can I fix this? dt = Current Data Table(); // Get the current data table nw = New Window("Enter Shop order", <<Modal, <<Return Result, V List Box( Tex...

  • File I/O error writing Preferences - Unable to write out file buffer

Hi JMP Team,   I saw the same exact issue posed in a separate discussion. However, there were no replies to it. I attached an image of the error i'm having.   I looked through JMP >> File >> Preference. I don't see anything related to File I/O.   I'm sure this is not an issue with JMP, but with the machine. But I was wondering if the JMP team/community can help point me in the right direction?

  • permutation test for PLS-DA

Hi all!  I've run a PLS-DA test for a data set that consists of FTIR spectral data of 5 different systems under 5 different treatments. I've used the fit model platform so that I could handle categorical variables in my Y variables. According to PRESS statistics, this model has an optimum number of factors of 7 and possesses good discriminating power between my samples. Then, I noticed that the st...
