Making the 'automatic peak finding' work (JMP Pro V18)

I have data with very clear peaks as in the image below.  However, if I try and use the 'automatic peak finding' It identifies the right number of peaks, but they're all the same with start / stop as the beginning and end of the data for every peak. (second picture) What am I doing wrong?Screenshot 2025-08-21 113519.pngScreenshot 2025-08-21 122008.png

Can you verify that you are on the most recent version of JMP 18 (18.2.2)? The reason I ask is that my version also has an 'Automatic Peak Removal' button that your screenshot doesn't. The GIF below is how I made the automatic peak detection work with your data.

Re: Making the 'automatic peak finding' work (JMP Pro V18)

Jed,  thank you for taking the time to create the GIF.  I am running V18.0.1 so I'm betting that's the problem.  I'm doing the same thing you are, but it doesn't give anywhere near the same answers.  I've downloaded the update and just need to find my company's procedure for installing it so I don't brick my laptop!

Thanks again.
