I have two data tables [main dt & parameters dt]

How do I not hardcode the parameters and only compute the mean, plot correlation and variance-cdf with the parameters listed in paramters dt? My parameter dt looks like this,

Where I will only get mean, correlation and var-cdf if it has Y on it.

Hi,

Have you considered the Summarize function? You can define the Grouping variable as Parameter List (assuming that this variable is present in the main dt)

Hope it helps.

Best,

See the help documentation on virtual join for your data tables. Once you join the tables then you can use any number of methods to get the summary statics you are looking for (summarize, the "by" function, filtering to name 3 ways).
