Hi,

Some questions regarding JMP:

1.How can i learn about the differences between the multivariate analysis methods(pairwise , row-wise etc.)?

2.How to choose the best method for my analysis?

3.When i do multivariate analysis in a script i would like to get the correlations as a data table. how to do it in the script?

Thanks in advance

There is documentation included with JMP that goes over Modeling and multivariate Methods. Go to the Help menu, select Books. Also, opening up the Multivariate command and hitting help will give a  brief explanation.

If you want to save a correlation matrix to a JMP table, you can use the "make into data table command". Use the following example as a starting point.

mv = Data Table ("My Data Table")<< Multivariate (....)

mvr=mv<<report;

mvr[Matrix Box(1)]<<make into data table;

Thanks the example solved my problem!

I looked at the help books it doesn't explain how the analysis is done(as far as i could see), it does say that pairwise is used for large data tables.
