I am using a Script Box to display a rolling log on a GUI which I am building. My problem is that I cannot seem to "contain" the Scrip Box dimensionally; i.e. I want to specifically set it to a certain Width & Height to contain it within my GUI Layout. I have tried putting it into Panel Boxes, V List Boxes and other display items in order to control it's size and position but to no avail.

The functionality of the log is fine but the real issue is that when I "full screen" or resize my GUI the script box expands accordingly. I require a fixed W & H.

Does anyone have any suggestions? BTW - I've already tried to use a text Edit box but without success also.

Cheers, Troy

There is a message that you can send to the display box to turn off auto-sizing in the x and y dimensions:

New Window("Test",

Lineup Box(NCol(1),

Tab Box("My Tab",

            Text Edit Box("",<<Set Width(300))

),

Script Box("", "Text", <<Set Auto Stretching(0,0))

)

);
