How can I remove a selected column from Fit Model menu?

Hi,

I am trying to find a way to remove a column that is loaded by default in Fit Model menu:

RemoveY.png

Remove the Y from the Y options menu. I have tried several options with no success.

One example of what I have tried is:

dt = Open( "DOE_Table.jmp" );

ModelAna = dt << Run script( "Model" ); // Run the model desing I previously choose

ModelAna << Y(:VMH); // Added output
ModelAna << Y(:VML); // Added output

model_rprt = ModelAna << Report;

Ys = model_rprt[ListBoxBox(2)] << Get Items;
remove from(Ys,1);
model_rprt[ListBoxBox(2)] << Set Items(Ys);

But I cannot remove the Y. Any idea how to do it? or what I am doing wrong

Thanks

Re: How can I remove a selected column from Fit Model menu?

I thought it would be easy, but I couldn't get the ListBoxBox() to respond to e.g. Remove Item (1).

However, simulating a click on the Remove button worked.

rprt[ListBoxBox(2)] << Set selected(1);
rprt[Button Box(8)] << click;

There is usually more than one way. In addition to sending messages to the launch dialog, you could also edit the Model table script before running it. You could edit it in the data table. You could also get this script as an expression and then manipulate it as necessary before evaluating it.

Learn it once, use it forever!
