Hi, I am trying to write a script to automate screen predictors or random forest which is available in JMP 12.0. However I can't seem to find any information on how to script it . Can someone help me on this? Thank you!

Solution

If you run the Partition Platform and specify Bootstrap Forest, you can then go to the red triangle in the output report and go to Script==>Save Script to Script Window.  That will show you the script necessary to run the platform.  Here is a working example:

names default to here(1);

dt=open("SAMPLE_DATA/semiconductor capability");

Partition(

Method( "Bootstrap Forest" ),

Portion Bootstrap( 1 ),

Number Terms( 1 ),

Number Trees( 100 ),

Go

);

Also, if you go to:

     Help==>Scripting Index, Partition Platform, Bootstrap Forest

You will see all of the object's details

Thanks a lot Jim. This is exactly what I am looking for. I managed to call "screen predictors" in my script using the scripting index as well.
