I often see posts from days or weeks ago with zero responses that, if posted again, might elicit a response.  I think potential answerers are more likely to look at the topic if there are no responses (I could be wrong here?) so I hesitate from just replying to the message saying 'I don't know but maybe someone else does..'.  Is there, or could there be, a way to bring those topics back into circulation? ... Allow pasting Links in Link format. Markdown is simple and quick to to write (if you know how) and doesn't have too many bells and whistles. It would make it faster to write posts with headers, lists and so on than the current interactive solution (using html?). As the syntax is different and not everyone is familiar with it, it should be implemented as an option. ... View more

When posts get longer and longer and you have to make modifications to your post (adding <JSL> or spoiler tags), the posts might end up with massive amount of excessive white space. Example post: https://community.jmp.com/t5/Discussions/Use-expr-to-replace-variable-column-names-in-a-formula/m-p/713926/highlight/true#M89737 this seems to be because the editor we use to write posts leaves extra white space to the html code To fix these "easily" I basically have to open the html and fix it there.   What I would like is to the post editor be more robust against these as it would result in much better posting experience and cleaner posts in community. ... Currently it is fairly difficult to find of some item has already been suggested in JMP Community's Wish List (you have to basically rely on the search). My suggestion is to add some sort of tagging system which could be then used to group the items together. Initial tags could be set by poster but developers could add more tags to improve the quality of tags. Tags could include function names, platform names and so on ... View more

From time to time I find issues with JMP's documentation be it improvement, something should be made more clear or an error. This happens quite often especially with Scripting Index. Currently I don't bother reporting these at all and it would be nice to be able to report them easily in JMP Community. It would allow other users to see the reports, so same issue won't be that easily reported multiple times.   Same could be said for different kinds of bug reports, as currently only way I know of reporting bugs is writing message to JMP support. ... Add Hover Over when using @ to tag post (or user). Came across this idea when tagging older posts to this topic Color Tabulate report based on other column value and there were multiple posts with same name.
