Complex Numbers in JSL

Is there any hint that JMP may add complex number support into JSL in the future?I've seen the namespace("Complex") Stuff but wondered if there was going to be a more substantial addition.

How to specify a number array

Hello Guys,I want to specify a number array from 1 to 100.Right now I am doing it in the following way.sel[1] = {"1", "2", "3", "4", .....continued upto "100"};But this method is very cumbersome as I have to type in all numbers up to 100. Is there any shorter way in which I can tell JMP that I mean all numbers from 1 to 100.Thanks

Split Data Table Problem

I'm having an issue with the splitting of a data table and was wondering if someone knows how to it. My data looks like this:The data should be Split by ID2 with ID being the group variable. When I am doing it that way I end up with this result:The Problem is that for IDs 2 and 4 there are multiple values of C in column ID2. As it seems JMP is always using the last value in the splitted data tab...

Translation in the JMP User Community

It appears that our new automatic translation is overly aggressive. Best practice is to turn off the translation checkbox in the upper right before copying and pasting JSL.We're going to keep working on ways to avoid this problem.-Jeff

Grab "date Modified" info from file?

So I've been handed an old .jsl file that parses a bunch of .dat and .csv files into a combined .jmp table. It looks through several files for each lot (one per wafer) and combines it all into a single data table. However, it was never programmed to add the timestamp from the metro tool. How can I add to the .jsl to grab the timestamps from the files?Any help please?
