  • definitive screening design

    Dear All,
I am planning to build an RSM to optimize my method. I have 8 continuous factors, 1 categorical factor, and 2 responses. The levels of each factor were determined according to previous experiences of the team. I have no idea if there are interactions between factors or not. I can not identify the source of noise and I am planning to randomize. After I did some research, I think the most s...

  • controlling for site clustering

A large data set of >200,000 patients is from 125 hospitals. I am analyzing difference in outcomes ( mortality ( nominal) and Length of stay ( continuous) based on admission source. The other predictor variables include age, diagnostic categories, severity of illness score etc. I need to account or site clustering. • DOE testing - query on settings to reach a specified target

Hi all. I am currently working on a DOE assignment. One part of the question relates to getting the settings for 4 factors to achieve a target distance within a range of x +/-5cm. I believe I should be able to achieve this through the profiler but I cannot figure out how to achieve this. Can you offer me any advice in relation to this? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanking you in advance.

  • Predicting Rainy Days

Hi all! I'm wondering if JMP can help with spot a pattern in the days leading up to rain. If I have years of historical daily (even hourly) environmental data which includes temperature, humidity, pollution, etc, would JMP be able to help spot a pattern leading up to rainy days? If so, what type of analysis would be best suited for a study like this? The "sequential" element is tricky to me, as I'...

  • Do "work" when you select an item in the Data Filter

I am having trouble figuring out how to do "work" when you select a item in the data filter. When i select a condition I would like the script to go to my Limits Table and then populate an expression that i use for a Graphics Script. This will change based on the "where" statement from the data filter. I don't know how to get the script to trigger this action or how do you delete it if i were to c...
