  • How to set different overlay markers on a line chart with multiple lines?

    Hi,

Using the Chart function on JMP, I've plotted multiple lines from several different data sets on a single chart. It seems that JMP's default setting is to distinguish between the different lines/data sets by making each line a different color. I want each line to be black (which I know how to accomplish) and for each line to be distinguished by different overlay markers. The problem is that ev...

  • How to have few distribution in the same plot?

    Hi All,

If I have a few data sets, how to 'analyze>distribution' them so that i get a normal quantile plot with those few data sets in a same plot/figure.
Provided, the data set markers will be different.
In the data table, I have a column to segregate the data sets but if I choose 'analyze>distribution>by segregation' i get few quantile plots.

I would like to have all in one.

    This for super-impose co...

  • Switching between journals

I am in a loop and during each iteration I am journaling various tables, texts strings and charts. This presents the items in the order that they were journaled, which makes sense.

I want to present the information in a different order, so I want to create two different journals and bounce back and forth between them as I journal items. Then I want to append one journal to the other.

    Any suggestio...

  • Firth-bias adjusted estimates

I am running some choice models in JMP. I am using the one-table method rather than the method with the separate profile, response, and subject tables. When I run my model with the Firth bias adjusted estimates box checked, the model fails with the note "cannot calculate objective at starting value." When I uncheck the Firth box, the model runs and I get output that appears reasonable. Couple ques...

  • Mixed effects Models (REML) in JMP-understanding the denominator DF

I am attempting to run mixed effects models (using the REML method) in the fit model platform in JMP 8.0.1. I have two random factors and two fixed factors. I have run the same model for two different response variables (so the structure, number of reps etc is identical) and am puzzled by the fact that the reported denominator DF in my fixed factor effect test report is not the same for both mo...
