  • JMP ANOVA giving wrong number of degrees of freedom

Hello,   Brand-new to JMP, so my apologies if I'm doing something obviously wrong to you, the wise ones. I am trying to run a two-factor ANOVA on a dataset that involves battery test life at 3 different temperatures using 3 different materials. When I run "Fit Model" using JMP, however, I get only 1 degree of freedom for each of my effects, not 2 like I would expect (3 data points - 1 = 2 degrees ...

When I copy the https link into a browser, it works and shows data.  Could it b...

  • importing from excel with a new line in a cell

Dear Members of the community, Does anyone know how to import data from excel correctly when there are line brakes within cells? in the attached excel sheet, cells B4 and B7 have a line brake that makes the import incorrect no matter how i try to import or just copy and paste into JMP. Is there an importing method that is robust to this?   line brakes can be entered into a cell in excel using Alt+...

  • Equivalence between two manufacturing lines

Hi all, I am attempting to display a TOST or equivalence between two distributions of the same output, but on different manufacturing lines. I understand you can get to this by the Fit Y by X, but a little confused as there is no Response/Factor situation, but rather a distribution of output Y1 on the donor process, and a distribution of output Y2 on the recipient process. Is there a simple way to...

  • Import Excel data from specific Excel cells

I have situation where the data I need to analyze in JMP is stored somewhat haphazardly in in an Excel file.  I fortunately can easily get a list of the Excel cells that the data is in, and I would like to automate with JSL importing those values.  I am looking for ideas on how to do this effectively and efficiently.   For example, let's say the data I need in a single column in JMP  is stored in ...
