  • Can't Change Color of Graph Builder Plots due to "Maker" when Plotting a Number of Columns

Hi, Whenever I try to plot a number of columns at once, I cannot choose color by any other columns because "Maker" seems to have the highest priority of color. For example, on the bottom image, I tried to change color by Sample, but all dots were purple because "Maker" was set to purple. Could someone tell me how to get rid of "Maker" so that I can choose any colors I want? Thank you.

  • zoom out in graph builder

Hi all, I am trying to zoom out in the graph builder mode - and have read the instructions. They say just press ALT key twice or hold it while pressing the zoom key once - et voila, you get the original plot back with the original scale restored. But it never happened to me! I am tweaking the same graph for 5 minutes now and it is frankly very annoying :). Do I do something wrong or can anybody hel...

  • How to set scroll position for list boxes

I am getting Object 'ListBoxBox' does not recognize the message 'get scroll position' errors when trying to set the scroll location for a list box. My script automatically selects a value from the list, but if that value is not currently visible, it looks like the list box has no selection. It would be good for me if I could get it to scroll down to make sure the user doesn't get confused by this....

  • How to generate a data set distributed according to a specified life distribution

Is there a way to do a  Monte Carlo simulation to generate a single data set containing values that are distributed according to a specified life distribution such as Weibull or Normal? I also want this to be repeatable by specifying a starting see.  How can I achieve this in JMP? A formula or a JMP script would suffice.  For example, I want to create a dataset that follows a Weibull distribution ...

  • Relative Potancy 95% CI

Hi there, I am fitting a curve and applying a sigmoidal 4PL Rodbard model and testing parallelism. I have to determine the relative potency using the inflection points (IC50). So I calculate relative potency by dividing inflection point of the standard by the inflection point of the sample  (0.6479693 / 0.6477584 = 1.0003). How would I create a 95% confidence interval for the relative potency?    ...

  • Quantile (Percentile) Calculation

I have a dataset of 10 numbers: 2,4,5,8,9,10,13,15,17, and 20. I pull those into JMP and split them up in a tabulate table into Quantiles. Output is at Quantiles 5, the value is 2, at quantiles 10 the value is 2.2 and so on. How are these calculated? Thank you!

  • SharePoint Online

My company recently began the migration from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint Online.  I have found that my JSL scripts are now no longer able to open or save files to the new SPO site.  Anyone have the correct updated syntax for this. Example 1 (SP 2010): This worked.     TablePath4 = "\\sharepoint.amr.ith.company.com@ssl\sites\rpt\documents\JMP_tables\"; //set variable TablePath path location Tabl...

  • Problem specifying model for a partly nested ANOVA design

My study design is mixed-model with one fixed between-plot fixed factor (A), a random plot factor (B), nested in A (B[A]), and two crossed within-plot fixed factors (C and D).  I'm able to enter a full factorial model that includes the 3 fixed factors and all their interactions, using either the Least Squares or Mixed-Model Personality.  I'm also able to add the random factor (B[A]), but things go...

  • Default encoding on JMP - EUC-KR

Hi,I have JMP 14.2, 15.1, and also 16.0EA at the moment. All versions here don't include EUC-KR encoding system; so this can cause importing problems in many cases since a lot of Korean data or pages are made with EUC-KR. I have charsets that are all broken. So I had to import it with other programs and save as to fit into UTF-8 or match/join columns with other matching codes. It seems like JMP is a...
