I have JMP16 and JMP17.There appears to be something wrong with Graph builder in both versions.This is a simple plot X vs Y that appears to fail after a certain X value is added to plot. Difference in two JMP plots is just additional X category. Note how previous data is garbled. This is the plot of the data in EXCEL
In JMP 14, Preferences window > Windows Specific > Graphics Format, there is a preference called "Graphic scale factor %". How does one set this using Set Preferences()? I could not locate any reference to it.

Hi all, I have a data set that has an all-zero column. However, its column value is not consistent in having an all-zero value. How can I determine if it has an all-zero and when it has normal values? I just need it to create an if condition.
Expected output:if Col1 is all-zero => print ("Col1 is all zero"), print ("Col1 is non-zero);
Hello, I want to get text from a framebox, but I haven't figured out the syntax for doing this. Can someone help?
I've adapted script from this thread, but find it doesn't seem to work for what I'm looking for.
https://community.jmp.com/t5/Discussions/JSL-Retrieve-Selected-Frame-Box/m-p/14552 I also have another script that grabs numbers from the profiler graphing tool, and I've adapted that, but I ...

Hi all, building my own table from a number of others, and making a column that I want to have fixed length. If a column exists from another table, I wish to fill it with values made from a list , if not, i wish to fill it with zeroes. Currently, there are no values appearing and I cannot figure out a place to put the if statements that will make this work out. This is my most recent attempt, Idea...

I have some CSV files with identical headers. Is there a fast way to add the data from the newer files into the JMP data set? (Faster than opening the file + copy + paste?) Something which I could save the script and just click the button every time there's a new file?
Dear community, For the probability profiler as used to analyse data in choice experiment analysis, I am wondering how to optimally set the baseline scenario to compare probability profiler data. Following for instance von Wedel & Hagist (2022), utilize the probability profiler to compare the baseline of the combination of attributes with the lowest marginal utilities. While such an analysis is ...

If you're looking for some data wrangling puzzles, the Hanukkah of Data series of daily puzzles is underway at https://hanukkah.bluebird.sh/5783/. They're on day 2 of 8 now. As far as I can tell, you can do them whenever and there's no competitive part. I'm doing them in JMP, of course!
HI all,I have a question about an error I'm getting when using @stan_koprowski's slope and intercept add-in. I've posted my question on the add-in's thread but due to the much lower exposure compared to discussion posts, I thought that it might be a good idea to ask here as well. I made a mock data table with three groups and several observations in each group. When I run the add-in I am getting t...
Hello, I'm trying to invoke some commands in R using the R Submit function in JSL and am getting the error below. Is this an issue with JMP17 and R integration? It only happens when I invoke a specific package using JSL so it's hard for others to replicate w/o installing R and the package as well. I'm using JMP 17.0 and R 4.2.0. Never saw this error with JMP 16. "Error: C stack usage 4123778 is to...
