Hi,here is another question:I sometimes want to create graphs where the x-axis is a count (as the row number), instead of column from the data table itself, for example time. Much like when doing a graph in Excel using the 'line' graph option. To do that I need an easy way to create a column which simple is the count or number of the row.In Base SAS it would be:data y;set x;nobs=_N_;run;which adds...
Hi all,working on MacOS, I am trying to convince me to switch to iOS and a new Ipad Gen 9.Everything I do on my MBPro is doable on Ipad Pro, EXCEPT JMP!Yes there is JMP graphViewer, but no way to implement data in a JMP table, or to convert a xls file filled on the Ipad to JMP...So, have any of you got a solution?Thank's
I have the following data with 20+ measures. Raw data shown here is a sample with only one measure. WIth Tabulate I can get subtotal for each site for all levels of Var2 (0,1,2,3) and level of Var1 (A, B). For example, the subtotal for Site1=461 (438+19+2+2). I am comparing the percentage of measure for each level of Var2 between the level of Var1 for each Site. Table1 presents subtotal for each s...
following up from this post: https://community.jmp.com/t5/Discussions/Script-to-loop-thru-and-group-columns-by-name-dynamically/m-p/470274#M71439 I'm grouping 10k+ columns into groups by StepID, but now trying to plot them all. I can't quite figure out how to tell it to plot by the list of all the groups. any advice? /*plotting a basic Fit YbyX just to get pValues. Formatting and style done on fi

Hello, I am performing a bootstrap on some data created using the mixture distribution function as part of the life distribution to calculate reliability. I am using the bootstrap data to develop confidence intervals for the mixture distribution parameters. The 5 parameters estimated are sigma 1&2, mu 1&2, and portion which is what I am creating the bootstrap for. I am not designating a random see...
I have written a script to group columns 3 to 52 in my data table and name the group First 50 bins.dt = current data table();
// Group columns 3 to 52 (bins 1 to 50)
FirstBin = column name(3); //column “Bin 0212” in this case, but different for each new data set
ata Table( dt ) << Group Columns( " First 50 bins ", FirstBin, 50);
Saving the script from an analysis I get a list of the column names (...
Hi all, I have tabulated tables where users are free to choose the headers they need. In line with that, I have three col list boxes where users will chose the headers for the table. What I need to do is to make the two col box list dependent on the first one because the data to be manipulated will be based on the first col list box. Im not sure how to use On Change() on col list box, but is there...
Hi,when I generate a summary table with the option "link to original data table" (selected by default), the two tables are linked:By selecting a row in the summary table the corresponding rows in the original table are selected.Cool.This also works for selections in Graphs and Dashboards.Very cool! Now my problem:After saving both tables to a project file, (precisely: after close & re-open the pro...
Hello. I am trying to use the EMP tool to help set guardbands to my test limits based on my gauge R and R data from a final test machine.I used 10 devices and measured these devices 5 times each, across 5 different test sites on the machine.I need to know how much to guardband my Upper and Lower specs. I am having trouble understanding how to apply the data in the EMP report. I feel like this is a...
Hi JMP community, (JMP Pro 16.0.0) I'm hoping to find out if there is a way to include lower bounds to simulated data in the Profiler platform. I have several predictors going into a model, but few data points to fit. So, in order to generate simulated ("synthetic") data, I use the Prediction Profiler platform along with the multivariate correlation structure of the data to generate thousands ...

Hi all,
I'm thinking about upgrading from my windows set-up and running a M1 Macbook Pro as my primary set up. I wanted to open up the discussion and see if any other JMP users were using the newest Macbook Pro and if they have run into any hurdles yet? I do a lot of R/Python integration. I do have a decent set up right now, but want to know if anyone else has tested out this connection and knows ...
