  • Scripting Index

I would like to teach a class on JSL using the Scripting Index. Is there a way to filter the items list based on sorted array of topics? Or where is the Name, Description, JSLExample code located, thinking about recreating the window. Was trying to avoid recreating the wheel and copying the description and code out to separate files. Would like to re-use what is already in place.

  • Sample size explorer - Power for two independent sample equivalence - Help needed

Dear JMP community, I would like to perform equivalence testing using TOST (comparing 2 samples). With JMP 17, I can see in the DOE section that we can perform some Power calculation with a power explorer. I assume that the appropriate power explorer before performing a TOST would be the “Power Explorer for Two Independent Sample Equivalence”. I am trying to get it to work but I am a bit strugglin...

  • Move Local Data Filter below Column Switcher

Hello, I have a control chart with a Local Data Filter AND a Column Switcher. If I leave it as it is, it takes up too much space horizontally on the screen, so I'd like to move the Local Data Filter below the Column Switcher to optimise space. Names Default To Here( 1 ); dt = Open( "$SAMPLE_DATA/Quality Control/Coating.jmp" ); Control Chart Builder( Variables( Subgroup( :Sample ), Y( :Weight ) )...

  • Scripting Control Chart for Selected Items from the Process Screening Module

I have been working to automate a Process Screening Analysis.
I have a textbox popup which prompts the user to put in a date in the yyyy-mm format. Then I have a button to save the date as a variable. Next, I have a button which runs the Process Screening Analysis. In addition to that, I put in a local data filter using the user input to do the analysis on only that set of the data. This works fine...

  • Two alternatives in choice experiment

Hi, I am designing an experiment with two discrete choice options, 2 factors each with 2 levels, and 1 with 6 levels. I have tried DOE consumer studies, choice design but unable to make this work. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  • Open Data Base Efficiency/Run Time

    Hello,

When you use Open Database() it opens the database and runs the query. Well, when you need to run multiple queries on the same database does it hinder run time performance?

When I run local queries the run time is super quick every time. However,
when I run several queries on JMP with Open DataBase() I seem to get mixed results. I'm thinking I may be losing performance by reconnecting to the d...

  • Dynamic Coding Problem

    Hello,

Looking for tips on how to make my script more dynamic.

Given the snippet below we have a data table << Get as Report that we add onto a Col Box() with dynamic buttons.

Now, here lies the issue. I need to put X amount of data tables into my window and I'm not sure how to go about it since I also need to add dynamic buttons to each table. The exact amount of data tables can vary. Thanks for the...

  • How does AICc criterion and Combined rules interact in Stepwise Fit Platform?

As an entry-level user of JMP but with a bit of statistical knowledge. I encountered with a problem when trying to use the stepwise fit platform to develope a regression model for my DoE dataset.

I read the JMP help book and understand how combined rule applied to p-value based stepwise regression (a joint F-test and another partial F-test of interaction effect when added precedent main effects). ...

  • PLS

New to PLS and confused as to the following: when I run the PLS and ask for results  for two factors, I  get two rows for each Y (in this case metabolites). I must  be interpreting the results wrong, as I do not expect two rows for each metabolite, with a total of four different scores, two apparently corresponding to each factor.

  • Locked Data Table

In JMP 18 a locked data table does no longer allow saving a script. This is a disadvantage in my working process. In my view locking the data table should protect the data only. W. Koch

  • Could JMP show in a single graph a sensitivity analysis and the probability of occurrence of a result?

Hello Community!Attached is the script "Hogi chart calculates risk and probability", an excellent work by HOGI ... which calculates the risks and probabilities of occurrence of an input or multiple inputs (x), of an output or multiple outputs (Y) or their combination in a table. For example:Would it be possible to expand the capacity of the script to make a sensitivity analysis of the inputs (x) o...
