Is there a way to link a JMP database to an external source, and automatically fill in new data in the JMP table as the external source is updated?

  • distribution of the data is not in JMP during CPK analysis

I am doing cpk analysis and did continuous fit-->fit all to find the true distribution for the data, then run cpk. JMP provided the best option, then I did Goodness of fit to confirm by P-value, however, P <0.001 which reject the distribution JMP suggested. I assume, this means JMP do not have the proper distribution stored. My question is if I can just use the distribution to run CPK, based on th...

  • Center Points and Screening Designs

Hi members, I am trying to do a custom main effects screening design using JMP 16. I have five factors and one of the factors is categorical with 4 levels. The custom design generates a 16 run experiment and I was wondering if it's necessary to add center points to the study? I am only interested in determining the factors that matter and which of the 4 categorical variables I should use for an RS...

  • Missing Specification Limits in Levey Jennings Control Charts

Dear Community, For the process performance reports my colleagues and I create via JMP, we include a Levey Jennings control chart figure. We create this figure using the "Analyze"->"Quality and Process"->"Control Chart"->"Levey Jennings"-tool Oddly enough, even tho we specify the specification limits for the column(s) (and check the "show as Graph Reference Lines"), the figure will only show the c...

  • separating labelled values from graph points

I have looked in the scripting help section and all over this community and haven't found a solution for my problem so hopefully someone can help. I tried stacking the labelled column...

  • Expand Contours

    Hi,

I understand that the contouring is done based on triangulation to data points, but is there a method for expanding them further to fit a custom SHP file I've imported into JMP? I've already set the alpha and the lowest value so the contour should cover the, 'most', area. Any other methods? Thanks!

  • Getting all Zeros for the AR(1) estimate/std error in a Repeated Measures Mixed Model Using JMP Pro

I am fitting a model of a continuous response against 7 fixed effects. When running the Standard Least Squares; my residuals plots/assumptions checks don't look too bad but the Durbin Watson test is suggesting an AR(1) structure in the residuals. This is expected for this particular analysis and is consistent with other data sets looking at the same response/factors. The Time Series platform also ...

Hi,I want to export the prediction formula generated by Functional Data Explorer either to Excel or Python (via Formula Depot), but there is a problem because the formula contains P Spline Coef() interpolation, which I think is not available in Excel or in Python libraries. Do you have any suggestions how to solve this?Best regards
