Help! I have a datatset with 200ish rows. There are 170ish unique IDs, meaning multiple people have multiple rows. Is there a way to merge the data from the applicable rows (e.g., some rows are dates so that would not be applicable) with a sum? Such that each unique subject ID only has ONE row in the dataset. If its only possible to this with a dataset with applicable rows (i.e., all numeric/...
Happy Sunday, a wonderful community of JMP! I will likely have to design and run a set or sequential experiments to maximize the yield of chemical synthesis. Someone in our group ran this chemical reaction in the past. However, my manager wants me to repeat this reaction to better understand the relationship between reaction conditions and yield. Based on the historical data, there are three takea...
Hi,I am trying to incrementally count rows in a dataset based on matching conditions in three other columns. Essentially if the rows in Column A, B, and C match, then Column D = 1; when Column C changes (Depth) but Column A and B stay the same, Column D = 2. I need this count to restart from one when Column A (Site ID) or B (Year) change. I have gotten this far with the following formula: Col Cumu

I'm trying to create a button that will modify the output of the Fit Model() dialog to include a Predicted R2 in the Summary of Fit table. I grab the current window and then I need to activate the PRESS statistic. After this it's straightforward enough and it mostly works if I've already activated the PRESS statistic through the contest menu. It also works if I code the Fit Model dialog myself ...

Could anyone please recommend some advanced books for studying JMP Pro?
I have a table of MODIS. There is a column Confidence with the range from 1 to 100. I want to group it by low confidence 0-30, moderate confidence 31-60, high confidence 61-100 and run descriptive statistic on the groups. I have wrote the statement but all values disappeared and became a black dots. How do i group columns right? How do i bring back the data back instead of black dots?Thank you.Natal...

Hello - First of all, I'm speaking very much as a non-statistician here. I have a paper I'm trying to replicate that is doing hierarchical clustering with multiple similarity functions and grouping methodologies, and then using an Adam's consensus to find a sort of "optimal" dendrogram, if you will. I looked at their software they were using, and its been out of comission for a good 15 years. JMP ...
Hi, is it possible to use a limits table to load specifications grouped by some factor in platforms other than Process Screening? Ideally I'd like to use the limits table in the distributions platform. Thanks in advance, Alicia
Hi all. So I'm working on a project where I have 2 x component classes, each of which has 4 items within the class, which are mixed together at varying concentrations over 48 combinations. Figured the best Factor way to do this was to use 2 x Continuous for the max/min concentrations for each class, then 2 x 4-level Categoricals for each of the items. Each of the combinations was made twice, so af...
I tried to do “Fit life by X” (fit TTF by voltage), but in the output, somehow “nonparametric overlay” did not show up. I was hoping to see the probability of failure vs time at 80V, 50V, and 15V (use condition), but that plot was not included in the output. I attached the report here. If anyone can take a look and point out went wrong, that would be great. Thank you!
Wow, custom binning even works with dates, cool! There is even a possibility to edit the binning. But: quite uncomfortable to type in the dates in seconds and to correct the labels manually. What do I have to change in my workflow to be able to enter the "dates" in a usual format - and to get the labels adjusted automatically?
