saving global variable between JMP sessions
How I can define a variable that is recorded in JMP, so next time I open it I still have access to it? For example, global variables are defined as: ::my_global_variable = 42;

I am working on a design with 2 continuous factors and one discrete numeric factor and I can't go above 12 runs for this design. When I look at the color map of correlations of this design, it shows correlation among the factors. I have tried different number of runs to see it gets better but it doesn't. If I go below 12 run, power of design decreses and I can't go more than 12 runs. Is there anyt...
Hi,I just upgraded to JMP 15 and noticed the "Row Order Levels" column property is not an available option. Is this property available?Thank you.
I would like to filter out certain frequencies in a time series data set. With the spectral density in Time Series I can see the FFT and its peaks but I wonder if there is built-in filter to perform these type of DSP operations. For example, with FFT() one can do the inverse to have a new signal with only the selected frequencies.
I have created a dashboard for checking the capability of a tensile machine containing a local filter, control chart, distribution and process capability plots, see image. I have also included a radio box with a list of chartable columns (ColList) so to allow the user to interactively chose the response to be charted:Panel1 = Panel Box( "Column selector",
rb = Radio Box( ColList , width( 20

Dear all, I generated a model from 20 data generated with a DoE. I also run in parallel 20 runs designed with a LHS on the same design space. I would like to compare the observed responses obtained with the LHS to the predicted responses obtained with the DoE. Which kind of procedure would you suggest to validate/verify the initial DoE model ? I used equivalence testing but it looks as a stringent...
Hello, Please could I get help to analyse the following dataset. Birds were provided with two different feed pellets (long versus short) at three different concentrations of protein (100%, 80% and 60%). I want to consider the effect of protein concentration and feed type both together and separately. I was planning to do a two way ANOVA to consider the separate and interactive effects of these fa...
Hi, I´m trying to calculate the distance that animals have travelled at a given time point adjusted for baseline. I have identified the total distance for each animal (&AM distance) and now need to subtract the baseline distance. This baseline is defined by 30 min after dosing. As the distance in the dataset is accumulated values I need to find the one value that matches the baseline timepoint. ...
I am running mixed effects models and have noticed that the standard error for an effect in the "Parameter Estimates" table is different from the standard error reported in the Least Squares Means table for the same effect. How are they calculated differently? Thanks!
Hello, So I've written a JMP UI, and once I gather data from the user I have a button that dumps the form data to a CSV.Now I need to launch my python script and other .exe (as an administrator), my python scripts pick up the user input from the CSV and perform the next steps.Right now it's a .py but I may need to run it through py2exe and compile it into an exe later so a solution that supports...
Hi, I have a problem where I want to do ANCOVA and It is new for me.We have,Main plot data (2 treatments)Subplot data (10 treatments)Yield datawe want to add lodging (%) score as a covariate. How to do it? (I have seen some video tutorial from Youtube but its not easy to understand for me) Your cooperation will be highly appreciated.
I create a new window with variability chart, and put into journal. After that i want to save into pdf. But at the last line to save into PDF, it give me error like below. and nothing is saved into pdf. Need some advice which part i am doing wrong? I am totally new to the JMP community and have a limited coding background. I am working with Life Distributions (Weibulls mostly), and I would like to create an Add-in that can do the following tasks once I have selected the best distribution fit: 1. Save specific report data from distribution (see the data tables in red) 2. Export the data into an excel sheet 3. Have the add-in button available ...
