  • Box Cox Y Transformation - Show untransformed values in Prediction Profiler

Hello, after applying a Box Cox Y Transformation to a response, the Prediction Profiler - as far as I understand - only shows the transformed response. So also the desirabilities have to be based on these transformed values. The prediction formula only leads to the transformed response as well. Is there any approach to treat this? I would appreciate to work with retransformed values in the Predict...

  • correct interpretation of fit least square report

I am trying to find if my process parameters have any significant influence at response variable. The fit least square report shows overall model (shown in the picture) for assay is not significant but the effect test summary shows factor a and interaction a*d to be significant. Is this correct interpretation of the above case: except factor a and a*d no other parameter have influence on assay?

  • Group scripts in themes in a data table?

Hi Community, I have searched in vain for a feature that can group scripts in my data table for an easy overview, just like this feature for grouping of columns: http://www.jmp.com/support/help/13/Group_Columns.shtml. My hope was to categorize my scripts in themes that are more or less always the same. Is this possible at all? Thanks!

  • Help for Fit Y by X using For Loop

Hi all, hope somebody can help me with this request, I am trying to write a JSL script to create multiple Analysis Fit Y to X using a where condition, then I need to save every analysis generated with the values of the column used for Where as JPEG file.So far, this is my initial script but I noticed that I am just creating a repeated analysis (times the tools used for  "Where"), I guess my error ...

  • Replacing Matrix Values

Hi! I am trying to input all my column data into a 8 by 12 matrix in order( filling in the columns first in a downwards manner). There are only 72 values in my column, so I want the remaining values that are not filled to be 0.  I am having a lot of problems trying to get the code below to work. • multivariate segmented regression

Hi, I would like to use JMP for a multivariate segmented linear regression. For example, I have a data set df with response variable Y and three predictors X1, X2, X3, with corresponding breakpoints a1, a2, a3. Which module I can use for modeling and prediction for segmented regression and how to use it? I am using JMP 14.1.0, and tried Analyze > Specialized Modeling > Nonliear but still not sure ...

  • main effect of two variables, which one overweighs the other?

I have two independent variables tempo and mode (major, minor). Their main effects and interaction effects both are statistically significant. (Values in the attached picture) in determining emotional response. How do I come to know which one overweighs the other? In other words, how do I come to know if tempo influences emotional response more than the mode or vice versa?

  • Specialized Modeling->Fit Curve Growth Rates

    Hello,

I am looking for a resource to explain how the growth rate parameters are calculated from the tangent at the inflection points, specifically for 3P and Weibull models. I need the ability to convert the growth rates back to biologically relevant numbers. For example: If my Weibull growth rate is ~8, how do I convert this back to meters per day in reference to plant growth.
    The growth rate shou...

  • Capability Animation - How to see the LSL/USL Value?

I just discovered this nifty tool called the Capability Animation, where you can play around, dragging the spec limits and mean shifts, and it simulates your capability indices. But, I cannot see the actual LSL/USL values as I drag them! Does anyone know how to make this happen?

  • How to Post JSON data to a site via API functionality: "Unsupported Media Type"

Hi There, I am trying to perform a POST request to post some JSON data to a server, but unfortunately as of now I keep getting a 415 error. The goal of this script is to upload a JSON formatted file (or something of the like) to the server for other users to download/read. I noticed that there are very few POST examples with JSL, but quite the abundance with GET, which I have no problems with. I w...

  • Help understanding how Lift curves are calculated

Dear JMPers,   (computer details: I have JMP Pro 14 on a W7 Enterprise, 64-bit computer.)   I am trying to better understand how JMP actually calculates a Lift curve. I understand conceptually the ROC and Lift curves, but I'm having a hard time calculating a Lift curve myself. The JMP help/support page (https://www.jmp.com/support/help/14-2/lift-curve.shtml#1276958) isn't all that helpful in under...
