I am trying to change a numeric column to character using column info window. But it changes back to numeric automatically once I change it to character value. Can someone help me in fixing this issue?
Hi all,In my current project, I am writing a script to run several scripts already associated with a data table and then "copy+paste" each result window to a new window, with the final goal that the "new window" will contain every needed result image for a report. For scripts that produce a proper report, this is fairly easy and can be accomplished like this:::winOut = New Window( "Out", ::boxOut =...
If I have graphs from multiple data table and like to combined those graph into a single window for a report, how can this work out using a script. I tried a simple script below using jmp provided tables, but the script does not work out from me. Can anyone help? Thanks! Here is my script, Names Default To Here( 1 );New Window( "Combined graphs", V Sheet Box( <<Hold(Open( "$SAMPLE_DATA/Big Class.j...
Comment faire ?Merci,JohanHello,I'm a new JMp user. I'd like to make a beautiful graph for a slide but I have a pro...

The following script was copied after doing a manual concatenation:Add Properties to Table( {New Script( "Source", Data Table( "Data_W_Nov_15" ) << Concatenate( Data Table( "Data_E_Nov_15" ), Data Table( "Data_W_Jan_16" ), Data Table( "Data_E_Jan_16" ), Data Table( "Data_W_Feb_16" ), Data Table( "Data_E_Feb_16" ), O...
I have two files. The fist contains process data from multiple grade codes. The second contains only 6 columns: Grade_Code, Hi_Lim, Hi_Warn, Target, Lo_Warn and Lo_Lim.How can I use the limits in the second file when I want to produce gradecode specific SPC charts in the first file?BRDarren
Hi,I used JMP for a few years and recently got a strange problem during a contour plot. Please see attached JMP file (test.jmp).The data was plotted correctly in matlab. In the attached file, if I just plotted freq from 0.2 to 0.8, everything looked good (as left image). But if I included freq=0.9, the plot is changed completely (actually, the plot shrunk to a single line, as right image). I also ...
Hi!I was wondering if anyone already tried to work with Co-Kriging, using JMP together with Matlab. As JMP only fits Ordinary Kriging Models (Gaussian Process with Gaussian Correlation Function), I would like to send data (generated with Space Filling JMP Platform) from JMP to Matlab, fit the models there (Matlab), and bring the MODELS back to JMP, to use inside Profile Platform. Do you have any e...
I'm trying to interpret the relative contributions of my variables in a discriminant function analysis of chemical data for three groups of rocks. In a stepwise, linear, common covariance discriminant function analysis I'm able to generate non-overlapping 95% confidence ellipses for my three groups with no incorrectly assigned data points using 6 variables. My understanding is that the scoring c...
A former classmate of mine from Graduate School has recently published a paper on Generalized Segmented Distributions. Utilizing this method, the distribution can approach any continuous density function of arbitrary form. The method is particularly effective in fitting data with sufficient observations that are skewed and/or multimodal. The paper can be found here:The General Segmented Distrib...
