How to set changing upper/lower limit lines on graph builder

Hello, I have a simple Y vs X graph that the upper limit and lower limit are changing at different X values. Does anyone know how to do this on Graph Builder? or if there's a better way to do it? Thanks,Gary

Dragging variables to a graph builder map

While following the Graph Builder tutorial instructions for making a US map of States, I dragged the state name to the map corner and generated the outline. Then I dragged a continuous variable to the color drop zone. More than half the time that I try this, I get the following error code:

How do I conditionally set data type for new column in JSL?

Hi, How can I conditionally and programmatically set a data type for a new column? I have a workaround that covers numeric / character, and it could be extended for other types, but I'm trying to get the method below (marked 'not working') to work. Fit Definitive Screening: does Main Effects Plot disagree with model Parameter Estimates

I'm thinking there must be a simple explanation for this but I'm having "statistician's block" today.In the attached data, I am curious about at least two things.1. Fit Definitive Screening identifies X__3 as significant and not X__2. I do know that if I use Fit Model to do this that X__2's parameter estimate is much smaller than X__3's, so there is a smaller t-ratio and so X__2 is not significant...

Create an IF statement that allows for multiple result outputs

I am trying to filter out data based on a value in a column either a 1 or a 0. I can get it to filter out the 1 or the 0, but I would also like to be able to show all columns both 1 and 0. I have tried varying things and they either come out with a range issue or an issue with it not being completely specified. Fit Spline By Group: Save Spline Coefficients to Column?

Hi all--having an issue. I am using Fit Y by X to fit 5,000 separate regressions. I hold control, select red drop-down arrow, and Fit->Flexible, Fit->Spline and select, say, 0.1. This fits a spline to all 5,000 graphs with lambda of 0.1. I have 28 X values in each of 5,000 graphs, and I understand there are 4 different spline coefficients (A, B, C, D). Why does Profiler not stop

All,
I have a script I am trying to profile and improve on. When I run the script without the profiler, it runs and ends within 4 minutes. When I try to profile the script, even after a good 5-6 minutes, it does not stop. Wondering why this is happening and if there is a way to use profiler and not run into this. I am using JMP 13.
