  • How do I create two side-by-side Perato charts? (each ordered from greatest to least)

Please see the attached photograph for an example of what I want to do. I want to use graph builder to display two perato charts side-by-side when the data is broken into several categories. However, when I currently try to do this (as can be seen in the attached screenshot) JMP orders the bars by using the total amount of occurances, instead of by ordering from greatest to least for each individu...

  • Make 'smoother' lines transparent in Graph Builder?

As the subject says, is there any way to make the "smoother" lines in Graph Builder transparent? Right-click > Graph > Transparency... only affects the points, not the lines.  I would like to be able to build a graph with hundreds of lines overlaid, and make those lines transparent so that they are not overplotted and it's easier to see the "distribution" of trends. Likewise, is there a way to cha...

  • Trouble formatting date from DMY to MDY

Hi, I'm using JMP 12 and trying to change my date column from d/m/y to m/d/y, but the format does not seem to be working. It just keeps the date as 04/06/2018 instead of changing it to 06/04/2018. Ultimately, I want to be able to use the date in m/d/y to convert it into the day of year. Is there any way to fix this issue or another way to change the date from d/m/y to m/d/y? Thank you!

  • Fit Spline By Group: Save Spline Coefficients to Column?

Hi all--having an issue.  I am using Fit Y by X to fit 5,000 separate regressions.  I hold control, select red drop-down arrow, and Fit->Flexible, Fit->Spline and select, say, 0.1.   This fits a spline to all 5,000 graphs with lambda of 0.1.  I have 28 X values in each of 5,000 graphs, and I understand there are 4 different spline coefficients (A, B, C, D).  I understand if I just had 1 regression...

  • Why does Profiler not stop

    All,
I have a script I am trying to profile and improve on. When I run the script without the profiler, it runs and ends within 4 minutes. When I try to profile the script, even after a good 5-6 minutes, it does not stop. Wondering why this is happening and if there is a way to use profiler and not run into this.      I am using JMP 13.

  • Convert separate DATE and TIME columns in formats YYYYMMDD and HHMMSS into a single column

Hello, I manage an addin for my company where all data is imported into JMP via command line utilities owned by our automation team. My addin translates a users request into a formatted command and issues the command in the background. The data is returned back as a text file on the users system. My addin can then load the data from the text file. The issue that I have is that the columns vary bas...

  • pseudo r square in JMP choice model platform

Hi,I am using JMP's choice model platform to analyse some Discrete Choice Experiment (DCE) data. I am trying to find the pseudo r square but the platform does not provide it. Is there a way to calculate pseudo r square based on the results JMP presents under the choice model platform? I know pseudo R square comes up as entropy RSquare under JMP's fit model platform, nominal logistic fir for respon...
