  • Scripting group columns

Hi,   I have scripted an addin to query a sql table and then group/move some of the columns with an action below. It does group the columns but it also leaves them outside of the group post query. How do I not have them displayed outside of the group?   Open Database( "DSN=BB Analytics Data Warehouse;Description=BB Analytics Data Warehouse;UID=;Trusted_Connection=Yes;APP=JMP;WSID=SFX-5GCN2M1;DATA...

I have a data table with multiple columns (data imported from Excel). Each column has different number of rows items.I want to stack data from every column under each other in a newly created column. How to achieve this?(The stack sequence is not important as long as all data is there, but is column 1, column 2 ...column N is preferable)

  • Which Parameter(s) affects the response variable the most?

    Hi

I´m quite new to JMP Pro and therefore not very familiar with how to deal with the following: (I have also inserted the <JSL> below)     I have investigated 3 parameters of a fermentation in different combinations (my DoE)
and quantified the protein concentration (that is my response variable).

Is it possible to see what parameters are the most significantly affecting the protein concentration?  ...

  • Classifying audio files

Is there a way to process raw audio files with or without metadata? Having a microphone installed to detect noise is a cheap way to protect equipment and personnel from damage. However, it would be much more efficient if the sound is classified (as being false alarm, object loose etc). Can a model be trained in JMP for that purpose?

  • Covariates in defined order in custom design

Hi,  In our experiment we have 3-4 continuous controllable factors and the fill height of a reservoir that is gradually reduced with each run as uncontrollable factor .It is not an option to adjust the fill height for each run.The reservoir can not be filled to less than 100% at the start of the experiment. If blocking is used the fill height of the reservoir will decrease within each block. The res...

  • JMP Script Window - Hovering over a variable do not show the value stored in the variable if passed between scripts

I have found that hovering over a variable is very useful feature in JMP Script Window/Editor when debugging the script. I have been working with very long script which I have divided to smaller pieces by using Include-feature. I am able to pass variable content correctly between the included scripts but it looks like hovering do not work on included script windows (showing empty variable content ...

  • Choice experiment: probability profiler baseline assumptions

Dear community,  For the probability profiler as used to analyse data in choice experiment analysis, I am wondering how to optimally set the baseline scenario to compare probability profiler data.  Following for instance von Wedel & Hagist (2022), utilize the probability profiler to compare the baseline of the combination of attributes with the lowest marginal utilities. While such an analysis is ...

  • Slope and Intercept Collector error "matrix must be non-singular in access or evaluation of 'Inv' , Inv/*###*/(x` * x)"

HI all,I have a question about an error I'm getting when using @stan_koprowski's slope and intercept add-in. I've posted my question on the add-in's thread but due to the much lower exposure compared to discussion posts, I thought that it might be a good idea to ask here as well. I made a mock data table with three groups and several observations in each group. When I run the add-in I am getting t...
