  • How to determine if column is non-zero and all-zero

    Hi all,  I have a data set that has an all-zero column. However, its column value is not consistent in having an all-zero value. How can I determine if it has an all-zero and when it has normal values? I just need it to create an if condition.

    Expected output:if Col1 is all-zero => print ("Col1 is all zero"), print ("Col1 is non-zero);

  • Is there a "true" outer-join in JMP?

    I am looking for a true outer-join that will return only the mis-matches between the tables based on the match column.The dialogue allows for including non-matches to the inner match, but there's no option to just search for the non-matches and exclude the inner-match.

  • Creating A column in new table, filling with value under one condition, and another if otherwise

    Hi all, building my own table from a number of others, and making a column that I want to have fixed length. If a column exists from another table, I wish to fill it with values made from a list , if not, i wish to fill it with zeroes. Currently, there are no values appearing and I cannot figure out a place to put the if statements that will make this work out. This is my most recent attempt, Idea...

  • How do I pull data from multiple CSV files?

    I have some CSV files with identical headers. Is there a fast way to add the data from the newer files into the JMP data set? (Faster than opening the file + copy + paste?) Something which I could save the script and just click the button every time there's a new file?

While such an analysis is ...

  • Slope and Intercept Collector error "matrix must be non-singular in access or evaluation of 'Inv' , Inv/*###*/(x` * x)"

    HI all,I have a question about an error I'm getting when using @stan_koprowski's slope and intercept add-in. I've posted my question on the add-in's thread but due to the much lower exposure compared to discussion posts, I thought that it might be a good idea to ask here as well. I made a mock data table with three groups and several observations in each group. When I run the add-in I am getting t...

  • C Stack Usage Error When Sending Code to R

    Hello, I'm trying to invoke some commands in R using the R Submit function in JSL and am getting the error below. Is this an issue with JMP17 and R integration? It only happens when I invoke a specific package using JSL so it's hard for others to replicate w/o installing R and the package as well. I'm using JMP 17.0 and R 4.2.0. Never saw this error with JMP 16. "Error: C stack usage 4123778 is to...
