  • Heatmap: how to change values from "average" to "total count" for groups

I'm creating a heatmap in graph builder.  I have a "group" column and I've made a local data filter to migrate through the groups or select some or all of the groups for the heatmap.  When I select an individual group, the heatmap displays the count from the group.  When I select multiple groups the heatmap displays the average count for the groups.  I want it to display the sum or total count of ...

  • JSL - Why do I get error first time running script, but second time onward works?

The first time running the script shown below returns this error "Name Unresolved: m{36803} in access or evaluation of 'm', m/*###*/", while every subsequent run does not return that error.  Why is this?DataCV=open("C:\Desktop\JMP\sample_CV_data.csv"); Summarize( DataCV, processArray = By( :process ) ); Summarize( DataCV, ctypeArray = By( :c_type ) ); For( n = 1, n <= Length( ctypeArray ), n++,...

  • Prediction Profiler Confidence Intervals

Hello, Does anyone know how confidence intervals are calculated within the prediction profiler? My results do not make sense. The range of values presented in the confidence interval are above the range of the input data values. See below: Screenshot of data (values in the 9s):Screenshot of prediction profiler with confidence interval, within a Fit Least Squares Model (values in the 10s): I do not...

  • Microbial activity and shelf-life estimation

I realize that this is a little bit off-topic, but still relevant with respect to JMP's degradation/stability platform. I was wondering how to estimate shelf-life from microbiological tests (aerobic plate count for example). Literature and ICH only tell me that "Qualitative attributes and microbiological attributes are not amenable to this kind of statistical analysis" (read " not amenable to line...
