  • Consolidate Repeated Values into 1 Row

    My formulation was tested in 3 ways. My data set includes the testing dates alongside the results. Test Result 3 is date agnostic so it appears in my data set in both rows.   • Why does the Sum of Squares under "Effect Tests" not add up to the overall model's Sum of Squares?

    Hi all,   I fitted a simple model with one continuous and one nominal variable using Standard Least Squares. Now I am wondering why the sums of squares seem to mismatch under Analysis of Variance and Effect Tests. I am on JMP 18.0.1. 3.16 and 0.01 do not give the overall model's SS of 3.37. It's like some 0.2 are missing. Could anyone please explain why that is?   This particularly puzzles me bec...

  • find continuous empty cells

    Hi, is there a way to find continuous empty rows like below? is there any function in JMP that can quickly finding specific number of continuous empty rows? example in picture. in the same column there is multiple rows that is empty but I only interested with the 3 continuous rows that is empty.

  • Nested Lists

    I have somehow generated a nested list of columns due to them having been initially grouped.  I would like to remove the nesting to have a continuous list of columns I can act on.   Instead of {{:A, :B, :C}, (:D, :E, :F}}, I would like to get to {:A, :B, :C, :D, :E, :F}

  • Evaluate a design build using Easy DOE

    We used Easy DOE from JMP 17 to generate a 5 factor/3 response design with 4 continuous (2 level) and 1 categorical (2 level) RSM with 36 runs. Q1: Within the 36 runs there are 3 sets of duplicates. Is this a problem? We assume that since JMP designed it = no, but wanted to check for a better explanation.   • Discovery summit book signings - official list of books?

    Fellow JMP enthusiasts! During the 2024 Manchester Discovery Summit I was surprised to learn that the handing out and signing of books is a tradition. So, I am wondering whether there is a list of the books handed out & signed so far.
