Maximize Desirability

Hi ,
Does anyone knows how to maximize the desirability based on 4 factors and fixing 1 factor based on our required response. For example Output : Yield, DefectivityInput : Gas flow, temperature, pressure, chemical concentration (all factors are continuous) I run a DOE using all these 4 factors, but if i would like to optimize the output/response based only on the 3 factors (gas flow, temperature,...

Custom DOE - Issues with Continuous Factors, Runs only at Extreme Value

I have a custom experiment I'm setting up. I have 5 distinct surfaces I'm testing on. A, B, C, D, E. I added a second factor, "load" as continuous from 5 to 15 I added a third factor "hold time" as 5 to 30 When I run "Make Design" Im surprised to see multiple runs of the same combination with all values at the extreme of the 2nd and 3rd factor.
