  • Interpreting measures of accuracy for classification tree

I would like to know if the misclassification rate I am getting is acceptable. Whare ranges are considered acceptable? How do I relate this rate to the confusion matrix results? In essence, I am trying to evaluate and explain my results. In addition, how do I know if the Lift Curve resulls I am getting are also acceptable? Is there a range, which can be deemed as acceptable or good?

  • How to plot different spec limits for multiple variability charts

For variability analysis, I need to plot specs limits or ref lines (essentially both work for me) for every measurement type. In other words: Limits are different on every variability chart.Spec limit source is in the same data table in a different column.I don't want to set spec limits/ manuallyHow can this be scripted?appreciate your help, I've tried lots of ideas but none have worked for me

  • Log transformed data - linear graph axis - Use JSL to draw log ticks

I have biological data that is best displayed with a log-Y axis, the problem is that this causes asymmetric error bars which can extend very misleadingly below the data (if any layer has near zero data). The work around is to create a column to log transform the data, plot on a linear axis and tell the labeller to use a custom formate that is = 10^(:value). The new problem then is the minor axis t...

I perfom control charts and i computer cpk for and centrre line with UCL and LCL. This items are added manually with a double clic on the axis. I would like to addition different centre lines calculated permet period (e.g: period 2015 to 2016 Ref line=0.60 and for the 2016 to 2017 Ref line=0.70).

  • Use JSL to remove grey frame around plot area

I am trying to make my graphs look "open", so I would prefer to have only the frame of the plot area be the left-Y and bottom-X axes. The right and top I would like without border (frame).  How do I tell the graph builder not to draw the grey border or to draw it white? Same goes for axes? How do I tell script black axes instead of grey? Many thanks!

  • How Do I Use DOE in JMP to Model the Effects of Process Inputs on Variance

Greetings JMP Community, My "quick" question is to find information on how to design and analyze a DOE in JMP used to model relationships between inputs and variance outputs? Typical experimental designs are used to model the average output for a process to determine the significant inputs (screening designs) and possibly quantify the effects (response surfance models). I see a growing need to be ...

  • JSL How do I wrap the title text of a OutlineBox?

Hi all, I often use the Set Title() message to overwrite the OutlineBox titles of charts, distributions, etc. My first issue is that the OutlineBox does not support the Set Wrap() message. Is there any replacement I could use? To work around the missing Set Wrap(), I started inserting newlines "\!n" in the tiitle text. After doing this, I have noticed a second issue: Whatever number of newlines I ...

  • Understanding the Dispatch and Legend Model and what exactly is Base(0,0,0)?

My problem is two fold. Im writing a JSL Function to create some custom charts at work. Everything is working fine. Thats great. But I dont understand why - and I am trying to break down the code. Most of I wrote myself, but some aspects I made the tweaks within JMP, copied the scripts and used the parts that generated what I needed. Some of the code chunks that get added in are intuitive to read ...
