How to show value for certain points in Graph Builder
Hi, I am using Graph Builder to plot values for two populations (Blue vs Blue), is there a way to only show the value of all the blue points but not blacks. Thanks.
Find courses, tutorials, and lots of other methods of learning JMP.

1. Can the picture in the "picture" column be imported from the computer's hard drive or from the Internet? For example, how to use the JSL implementation to add "c:\1.png" to dt[1,1]. 2. How the script "Graph Builder with Pictures"s:"UniqueID(1180683047)," and "Origin({70.1036850751071, 172.033784817876})," are determined. How can these numbers be computed using functional formulas?
Hi I have read several post on data leakage between the test and training groups. The common suggestions to avoid leakages: 1 Split the database in training and test set before any normalization, standardization and missing value imputation 2 in case of time series avoid the random split. Decide a time cut point and use it to separate the training and test set. Any comment, suggestions, useful r...
Hello,Since the introduction of the SQL Query builder, I tried many times to use this tool without success. So I use the old way (open database) which force me to build manually the SQL queries. Now that we can mix external databases and JMP tables, I'd like to give a second chance to Query builder. It still doesn't work. The error message :The connexions with the Database works fine (I made an up...

The JMP syntax reference says that open() can be limited to different file types. File Type An optional string that specifies the type of file that you are opening (for
example, "text", "journal", "sas", "script", "png", and "jmp"). This can be useful if your file
does not have a file extension, the file extension of the file does not match the contents of
the file, or you want to import a JSL BLOB....

Hello,
I am looking for tips to help me select a large number of lines easily. Indeed, I work with large databases and when I want to select 15000 lines for example, I click on the first line and I scroll down to 15000. Then when I want to select the following 15000 lines I click on line 15001 and I scroll down to 30001 with my computer mouse
I tried with keyboard keys but it's also very long ...

I require help in finding statistical tests to run for my survey research. My responses consist of nominal and ordinal variables but I only get mosaic plots and nothing concerning t-tests or Mann-Whitney U tests. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. "9" represents missing data. Any help would be appreciated
Dear JMP Community, (W10, 64-bit, JMP Pro 15.2.1) I am running a model to assess the active predictors. I am doing this by using the Autovalidation add-in to generate a Null Factor for my data. I then use the GenReg platform to find estimates for each possible X-factor and then Bootstrap those estimates to get a better assessment of the contributions to the response. I came across a very stran...
Hello, I'm attempting to build an application in application builder. I have two modules currently. The first module is a series of number edit boxes and lists that allow the user to input values and make selections. After pushing a button, the inputs and/or list selections update table variables in a data table that subsequently updates column equations. The data table opens in the background so ...
How do I get a whole model significance test when conducting a generalized regression using the negative binomial distribution? I can get the individual effect significance tests, but I do not see where I can get the whole model significance.
Using JMP 12.x, I noticed that: tablebox() <<sort by column does sort the column fine, but it does not seem to preserve any existing cell coloring post row sort. Is there any way to force it to preserve the existing cell colors post row sorting?
thanks, DJ
I'm using the neural platform to calculate a model that makes predictions from some observed data and want to compare the performance of that model to other models (not from JMP). To compare the different models, I want to compare the observed data and the predictions from the different models. The R2 is not a good measure because it checks for any linear relationship between the observed and predi...
