I calculated predicted x from linear fit using fit model > inverse prediction. Is it possible to do the same using the quadratic model.

Hello, I am struggling with selecting several group of rows with categorize by data in row :Folder. My objective is to clean up the data table with full group of "0" or empty cells For example, i have a data table as such; WellDataFolderA1020200107 011 3FA2020200107 011 3FA3020200107 011 3FA4020200107 011 3FA5020200107 011 3FA6020200107 011 3FA7020200107 011 3FA8020200107 011 3FA9020200107 011 3...
Hello,I used the fit y by x platform of JMP to analyze the effect of two products on a response. I also have a blocking variable. The block means report is the following: Means and Std DeviationsLevel Number Mean Std Dev Std Err Mean Lower 95% Upper 95%
A 52 3.75 0.563468 0.078139 3.631591 3.945332
B 52 3.97 0.563468 0.078139 3.7854372 4.0991782 Why are standard deviat...

I'm getting errors with my attempt select a list of matching rows. Any suggestions as to what is wrong with this JSL code:
dt = Gas_Analysis_Full_0127
newList = {"Pump OIL", "ABD GAS"};
dt << Select Where( Contains( newList, :Well Status ) );
I have an RNA-Seq data set where reads are mapped to the transcript level, resulting in multiple unique transcript identifiers sharing common gene IDs. I am performing differential gene expression in JMP Genomics at the level of transcript identifiers, but I would like to collapse that information to the gene level in a statistically meaningful way. Most of the downstream data analysis tools (gene...

I have a large data table with 10,000 different column names and a small number of rows containing replicates from 5 different sample groups, including a control group labeled "HN30". I have a script that will run a one way ANOVA and Dunnett post-hoc mean comparisons test (i.e. Means comparison) to the control group (HN30) if I specify each Y variable one at a time. However, I don't want to type ...
Hello - I know you can make non-linear custom DoEs. However, I can't seem to find a source, even a theoretical discussion in a journal article, that shows how to handle a sort of hybrid model, wherein there is a physical model that is known that relates a response with one of the factors being studied, but the model does not incorporate other factors that are under study and known to affect the sy...
Thanks for offering these courses free of charge. They are great! But I did want to let you know that there is something wrong with some of the questions. This is the second one that has told me I am incorrect even though I have the same answers as shown.
Dear JMP Community, (W10, 64-bit, JMP Pro 15.2.1) I am running a model to assess the active predictors. I am doing this by using the Autovalidation add-in to generate a Null Factor for my data. I then use the GenReg platform to find estimates for each possible X-factor and then Bootstrap those estimates to get a better assessment of the contributions to the response. I came across a very stran...
Hello, I'm attempting to build an application in application builder. I have two modules currently. The first module is a series of number edit boxes and lists that allow the user to input values and make selections.After pushing a button, the inputs and/or list selections update table variables in a data table that subsequently updates column equations. The data table opens in the background so ...
How do I get a whole model significance test when conducting a generalized regression using the negative binomial distribution? I can get the individual effect significance tests, but I do not see where I can get the whole model significance.
Using JMP 12.x, I noticed that: tablebox() <<sort by column does sort the column fine, but it does not seem to preserve any existing cell coloring post row sort. Is there any way to force it to preserve the existing cell colors post row sorting?
thanks, DJ
I'm using the neural platform to calculate a model that makes predictions from some observed data and want to compare the performance of that model to other models (not from JMP). To compare the different models, I want to compare the observed data and the predictions from the different models.The R2 is not a good measure because it checks for any linear relationship between the observed and predi...
