Moving Average
I have a table called drugs with columns drug and result, how do I calculate the moving average of the result column by taking the first 4 rows followed by the next 4 rows and similarly continue. Pfa the sample table for reference.

I have a question about augmenting an interaction design to allow adding a 3rd level to a 2 level categorical factor. With that in mind, is it reasonable to do the following? 1) Run an interaction design with two continuous factors defined as continuous and one factor that's actually categorical, but is defined as continuous. All levels would be either -1 or 1. See attachment 01. 2) After co...
Hello, We want to run a screening DOE with 22 2-Levels factors, nearly all of them being categorical, and we wanted to use a Plackett-Burman with 24 runs in order to minimize the runs. But we have some combinations that are not possible to achieve, for example we will try a coating in either one or two layers and we want either to rinse or not between the two layers. But of course this rinsing mak...
I have a question about JMP® Student Edition. Is it possible to use this software to determine the stress indicator LF/HF (low frequency component/high frequency component) from Excel data on RRI (heart rate interval)? If so, please explain the procedure.
Hey user group! I had a question on how to create a scrip that would 1: loop through a folder that contains a bunch of scripts, copy the name of the script file and then copy the script itself below the name into a text file and keep concatenating the text file with all the scripts from the folder 2: Be able to read in the text from the text file and create new script files into a chosen folder. ...

I'm trying to add maps to my graph builder plots and I need to be able to create a dependency based on the value included in Group X. My plan is to have a semiconductor wafer notch orientation be the Group X value and depending on which value is present, invoke the appropriate map.
Variables( X( :SiteX ), Y( :SiteY ), Group X( :NOTCH ) ),
In many/most parts of the world a comma is used to indicate a decimal place rather than a period. I know that JMP supports this through the support of regional settings, but I don't what what happens in practice. A couple of specific questions: 1. Is the regional setting respected when typing data into a JMP table i.e. for PI you would enter 3,14 2. If I use the char function to convert thi...

May I ask a question: Regarding the "Model Sensitivity Profiler" in "Constant Stress ALT Design". The pre-estimated values have been set in the "Acceleration Model settings", and these set values cannot be modified. Besides, the values of "Approx. Fail Time for Setting 1" and "Approx. Fail Time for Setting 2" in the "Model Sensitivity Profiler" are also unchangeable. What is the significance of th...
Hello, I am running a PCA on an NMR dataset that contains some missing values. This isn't due to an error—it's simply the nature of the data, as some samples do not show certain peaks. I have noticed that when I include these parameters Y variables in the PCA and color the score plot by sample, some samples are missing entirely from the plot. It's not consistent—some samples with missing values...
Hi,
I want to use entries with newline in the legend.
what can I do to get a nice legend in Graph builder?

Show Control Panel( 0 ),

The JMP sample data file "Devalt.jmp" is included with the software. If you select the Weibull distribution" and perform the analysis using "Fit Life by X", the correlation between β0 and β1 in the results is -0.999188, indicating a very strong correlation. Is this acceptable? What impact does it have on the results, and is it significant? How can the robustness of this predictive model be evalua...
