  • Creating Fit Group Bivariate Charts with For Loop

    Instead of using hardcoded column names as input, I'd like a simple for loop to create the same charts as without the for loop. dt = Open("C:\Program Files\SAS\JMP\15\Samples\Data\semiconductor capability.jmp"); Y_parameters = {"NPN1", "NPN2", "NPN3"}; X_parameters = {"PNP1", "PNP2", "PNP3"}; Fit Group( //For i: //For j: Bivariate( Y( As Column(dt, Y_parameters[i]) ), X( As Column(dt, X_par...

  • How to determine if a data table is already opened?

    This is how I used to do it before JMP 8: tableIsOpen = Function( {tname}, {dt, rv = 0}, Try( dt = Data Table( tname ); rv = 1; ); rv; );
    This does not work in JMP verison 8 because DataTable function will open a file dialog if the table is not opened already. User can always press "cancel" but it's annoying.

    Thanks for any help.

  • Seeking JMP Video: Chemical Quantification & Supply Chain Resilience

    I recall a JMP webinar or video that demonstrated a method for converting diverse chemical characteristics into continuous, quantifiable data. This dataset was then used to identify promising alternative chemicals that were sufficiently similar to existing ones, specifically to mitigate risks from supply chain disruptions. Could you help me find this resource on JMP Community?

  • Adding column property units to Table headings

    Hello All,   I have a JMP file with multiple columns for different analytical assays each with the column property units. When I use tabulate to create a table and selecting the columns I get the column name but not the units. I don't want to add the units into the column titles themselves as that will effect a lot of other scripts I have. I did try just changing the statistics label to the assay ...

  • Testing slices in JMP Pro Mixed Model?

    Hello, I am doing a 4-way, full factorial ANOVA with one repeated measures factor (time, 3 samplings) and three between-subject factors (species, color, and irrigation; 2 levels of each) using the Mixed Model personality in JMP Pro 18.1.0. I'm using the AR(1) repeated covariance structure, as it provides the best fit based on AICc values. The analysis indicates I have no significant 4- or 3-way in...

  • Discovery summit book signings - official list of books?

    Fellow JMP enthusiasts! During the 2024 Manchester Discovery Summit I was surprised to learn that the handing out and signing of books is a tradition. So, I am wondering whether there is a list of the books handed out & signed so far. If it exists, where to find it?I thoroughly enjoyed reading "Bitch" by Lucy Cooke, and I have a feeling "Hello World" by Hannah Frey will be a good read too.
