  • Adding candidate runs in mixture design

HI, Is it possible to include candidate runs in mixture design. When i tried to add 4 runs that i wanted to include in the design. It is considering them as another factors. So, may someone explain how this works?

  • Enable and disable a button box based on input.

So I have a button box in a modal window, with two column selection boxes above it. The math later on could break if the two columns are the same, so I don't want the user to be able to click the same columns. I assume the simplest way to do this is to disable the button box until conditions are satisfied (both column selector boxes have a selection and don't have the same (assuming there are more...

  • Skip Filter for Data Filter Context Boxes?

Hover Label Graphlets are a nice alternative to Data Filter Context Boxes. With Data Filter Context Boxes, a user can select the data points which are displayed in another graph.Similarly, when a user hovers over a a data point, the Graphlet in the Hover Label just shows a plot which is restricted to the rows corresponding to the data point. For Hover Labels, there is the Skip Filter option which a...

  • Use a variable number of columns to join data tables

Hello - I'm trying to do a join as part of a script. However, the "select" and "selectwith" parts are messing me up. I'm dynamically selecting columns of linked data tables earlier in the script, and and passing them as a list to the "select" and "select with" parts. I tried Eval(Eval Expr(Expr())), but that didn't work. I think I'm just misunderstanding the way those two actually take information...

  • Creating email in draft before sending

Hello, I am attempting to use the Mail() function, and have not had any luck finding a way to make it so the email message can appear in Outlook or G Mail or wherever before sending. I may need to edit the email a bit before it is sent. Is this possible? What I was picturing was a draft email appears once the script has run, but anything that would allow the user to edit the email in the email cli...

  • Data Source SPI

I'm wondering if JMP publishes a service provider interface (SPI) that would allow us to publish a RESTful interface that would be natively consumable via the HTTP connector? https://www.jmp.com/en_ca/software/analytic-workflow/data-connectors.html

  • I have lingering confusion about blocking variables in my design and analysis.

Hi all, I'm using JMP Pro 15.2.1.I have lingering confusion about blocking in a designed experiment. In particular, whether I am indeed blocking at all.In my experiment, I have three 2-level (on/off) factors of interest. The response variable is the time-to-perform a task. I want to do a 2x2x2 factorial and I'm interested in testing the significance of main effects and 2-way interactions. I have 2...

  • What is the best way to use JMP to do clustering analysis if the data is a mixed model

What is the best way to use JMP to do clustering analysis if the data is a mixed model with continuous and categorical variables? K-Means seems to just work for continuous variables. Right? Thanks in advance.

  • How to display Cpk for Non-normal Distribution Data

Hi, From this tutorial: https://community.jmp.com/t5/Statistical-Thinking-for/Estimating-Capability-for-Nonnormal-Data/ta-p/271889 , JMP will report Ppk only from the process capability platform. However, it was mentioned that we can opt to display Cpk as well by going to the JMP Pro 17 platform settings. I was not able to find the way to adjust this, can anyone help? Thank you.

  • Vector Modeling and Related Analysis Capabilities

hello JMP team ,  I am curious to learn more on the vector data type modeling and any associated analysis on that . Are there examples of sample vector datasets ? Once such dataset exists, could clustering techniques work on them and how would they work specifically ?I assume they would at the very least extract statistical aggregation from each vector and use these for clustering. Is there any mo...
