  • How do I analyse factorial design

    Hi,I would like some assistance. Recently I ran a 2^4 factorial. My response is some texture properties of my extrudates. However, during the experiments, there were some conditions in which I was unable to obtain extrudates and hence not able to get any texture data. Hence I would like some advice on how to analyze such designs with missing data points. Thanks!

  • Append PowerPoint presentation with template

    I created a PPT with an existing template in JSL, and then tried to append additional slides to it using that same template, but get an error. Apparently cannot use both append AND template options in the save presentation call? Seems pretty arbitrary and inconvenient as these two options go hand in hand for many applications. Is there no workaround for this? I'm using JMP 14.3. thanks in advance!

  • Extract all column names referenced in a JMP formula

    I want to extract all the column name references found in a JMP formula to a list, specifically identify its column dependencies. JMP formulas can be quite complex; for example, they might create JSL code as output that includes column names. I am not interested in those column names as the formula does not depend on them. I am only interested in the column names it uses to compute the result. Is ...

  • convert literal column names to a list of strings

    If I have a list of column literal references, how can I convert them to a list of the string names? Can it be done directly without subsetting the columns first?col_names = {:Column 1, :"Y (%)"n, :"Quotes \!":name\!""n, :group}

    Some of my car data does not make sense such as, a car from 2020 with 2506000 milage and a high price. How do I set up filter conditions based on my criteria. For example set conditions to exclude cars with:Unusually high prices.Unusually low or high ages.Unusually high odometer readings.

  • Vector Modeling and Related Analysis Capabilities

    hello JMP team ,  I am curious to learn more on the vector data type modeling and any associated analysis on that . Are there examples of sample vector datasets ? Once such dataset exists, could clustering techniques work on them and how would they work specifically ?I assume they would at the very least extract statistical aggregation from each vector and use these for clustering. Is there any mo...

  • Dendrograms in JMP: show scale, show categories without the categories dendrogram and setup UPGMA+dice as statistics.

    HiDoes anybody know how to get the scale of the dendrograms? Scale can be setup in different ways, but it is not shown by default in the output.Does anybody know how to get the categories labels shown without performing the categories dendrogram?Does anybody know how to perform Dice+UPGMA dendrograms? Those are basics statistics, and I can’t find them.Thank you very much if someone helps JMP 17.2....
