  • How to select the highest three cell values in every column?

For every column that contains a word, say "Prediction", I want to extract top 3 cell values either greater than 5 or greater than 4.5 (if I get 3 numbers above 5 then I dont want any numbers above 4.5) in a list. Further, picking the one that is farthest away from 5 and hide the corresponding cell value in its raw table. For example, in this example table given below: In Prediction B column, I wa...

  • UCL&LCL on Variability Chart

Variability Gauge ChartI am very new to JMP. Based on the chart, how is the UCL and LCL being determine? Is it based on SD? By using Vial E, the data points that have very tight SD are having the maximum UCL and LCL range, as compared to the rest. The max. UCL and min. UCL are the same across the data, same goes to LCL. Can someone explain to me?

  • Variance partitioning in a GLM

Hi. I am wondering how to determine the portion of variance in the dependent variable that is explained by each independent variable in a GLM. I know this is doable in R, but would prefer to stick with JMP if possible. Thanks, Marthe

  • Why does Profiler not stop

    All,
I have a script I am trying to profile and improve on. When I run the script without the profiler, it runs and ends within 4 minutes. When I try to profile the script, even after a good 5-6 minutes, it does not stop. Wondering why this is happening and if there is a way to use profiler and not run into this.      I am using JMP 13.

  • Convert separate DATE and TIME columns in formats YYYYMMDD and HHMMSS into a single column

Hello, I manage an addin for my company where all data is imported into JMP via command line utilities owned by our automation team. My addin translates a users request into a formatted command and issues the command in the background. The data is returned back as a text file on the users system. My addin can then load the data from the text file. The issue that I have is that the columns vary bas...
