Randome sampling from a lognormal distribution shape

Hi all,
I have a distribution lognormal with bellow shape/scale parameter (made by 165 data) Now I want to randome sampling with different sample size (5pcs, 10pcs...) What I want is I expect when running more data it will still follow this distribution shape.
So I want to simulate what kind of data I will receive when sampling 5/ 10/20 samples in different times. I expect each time will show abit...

How to estimate the ideal sample size to validate failure rate in a process?

Hello!I have a factory process with a hypothesized failure rate of p=0.02, based on previous trials.I would like to get the ideal sample size to validate if my process has a failure rate no larger than 0.02. How would you approach this? Thanks in advance

If I have two different versions of JMP processes open at the same time in Windows 10.
I:\00\jmp17\jmp.exe
I:\00\jmp16\jmp.exe
JMP 17 is opened first.
How to write a JSL implementation in JMP 17 to run another JSL on computer in JMP 16 that is already open?
Note To speed up the response, it is required to run another JSL in JMP 16 that is already open

How to (1) change default color in AxisBox and (2) add reference line in only one Y-axis variable in grouped Y plots?

In the chart generated by the script below I would like to change the color of the lines indicated by the red arrows ("the separator lines") to purple. Also I would like to add a horizontal reference line only for the lowest y-axis variable (in this case PNP1).How to do these via JSL?(Note in my actual case the y-axis data is not from a column unlike in this example case)Names Default To Here( 1 )...

JMP Time Formatting

I can't get the time format to work. According to the scripting guide the format "m/d/y h:m:s" is used for both 12hr and 24hr time... WTF? Why would I ever want a function to willy nilly give one or the other answer? How do I get this to work!
