Hi, I use "by" function to draw plots one-time.How could I use script to set different scale?I tried to use "if" but it didn't work. Here is my script:d_graph=dt3 << Graph Builder(
Size( 1200, 300 ),
Show Control Panel( 0 ),
Variables(
X( :Lot ),
X( :ReadPoint, Position( 1 ) ),
Y( :drift% ),
Group X( :Rel_Test ),
Color( :Lot )
),
Elements( Box Plot( X( 1 ), X( 2 ), Y, Legend( 1 ) ) )...
I have a reliability dataset where some of the readouts did not have any fails. Do I merge these readouts with the ones that have fails or include them separately? Please refer to Setup1 Vs Setup2 in the snippet below [JMP file attached too]. Weibull alpha and beta parameters between Setup1 and Setup2 are drastically different. To me, setup2 seems reasonable since it includes complete information....
need your advice please I need to calculate a minimum number of subjects for an experiment aimed at evaluating the ability to control a new device. The average success rate in the population is unknown and the assumption is that it is completely random 50%. We claim that the ability to control the device is at least 80%. In the experiment. each subject receives 15 attempts in which there is a pos...
In our lab, we have a QC assay for the release of new batches of a product. The assay works by comparing the new batch to a reference batch, approving it if it performs comparably. Over time, we have had to change this reference since we do not have unlimited quantities of it and it expires. Therefore, we often need to change the reference. Due to differences in the references, we have experience...

1. I have 2 columns for total number of runs (A) and number of failed runs (B). I want to have the % of invalid runs by JMP. When I do it in Excel, I would do sum of column B divided by sum of column A. How can I do that in JMP please? And how to put that number in a report form? Is there a way to put that % in chart form?
2. There is a column for me to mark either True/False for each row. And I wa...
How to convert decimal value to binary value in another column?
I tried to do “Fit life by X” (fit TTF by voltage), but in the output, somehow “nonparametric overlay” did not show up. I was hoping to see the probability of failure vs time at 80V, 50V, and 15V (use condition), but that plot was not included in the output. I attached the report here. If anyone can take a look and point out went wrong, that would be great. Thank you!
Definitely, JMP is Not a Spreadsheet . And that's great!!
Besides this difference, there are other places where Jmp doesn't do/behave/produce what a newbie / innocent Jmp user expects.
If a user knows these issues and the remedies and workarounds - he/she can
a) save a lot of time
b) be safe from data loss
c) be sure that the results are as expected.

Referring to Rules: Stepwise Regression Control Panel (jmp.com) and Example of the Combine Rule : JMP Help Could somebody please further elaborate on the 2 tests when considering the entry for a term. It would also be immensely helpful if the explanation was based on stepwise backward selection. "Calculates p-values for two separate tests when considering entry for a term that has precedents.
