  • Finding the mean, sigma, or median for a column certain conditions

Hi all, I'm trying to find the mean, median and sigma for a column with certain conditions. For example, I need to get the mean for a test at certain frequency and a certain bandwidth.  Something like this: Col Mean where ( :column1 < Limit & :BW == Y & :Freq == XXX );  your help is appreciated :)

  • Sample Size Calculation

Hi All, I am planning an experiment to understand the lifetime of a product. Samples will be cut-out from the product. A batch of product is 15000 and I will cut smaller pieces suitable for bending test. Samples will be stored in different chemicals and there will at least 5 time-periods. I take out after each t1, t2, ... samples out of the solution an test. By this my goal is to fit the degradati...

  • Caution: Places where Jmp does something unexpected

Definitely, JMP is Not a Spreadsheet . And that's great!! Besides this difference, there are other places where Jmp doesn't do/behave/produce what a newbie / innocent Jmp user expects.
If a user knows these issues and the remedies and workarounds -  he/she can
    a) save a lot of time b) be safe from data loss c) be sure that the results are as expected.

  • Generate data using the Arrhenius equation for pharmaceuticals

Greetings! I am looking to generate data based on the Arrhenius equation for pharmaceuticals under different temperatures. The data is to study how temperature excursion would affect the behavior of the product in last-mile delivery. The problem is, I have no initial data [which I have been searching for quite a while to no avail]. Would it be possible to generate such data with JMP? Best,

  • Can I use the best-subset selection procedure to select explanatory variables for nominal logistic regression analysis in JMP?

    Everyone
thank you alwaysCurrently, I have to try all possible combinations (511 patterns) of 9 explanatory variables using the nominal logistic regression analysis method. It's difficult to do everything manually.
Is there a system in JMP that can select explanatory variables using a best-subset selection procedure like this?
It would be very helpful if you could let me know.Sincerely.

Hello, I am trying to do a matched sample analysis across three different factors. I wanted to:1. Confirm that my sample would be what I pick for 'Block" when I do Fit Y by X when running Friedman's test2. Is there a post hoc analysis in JMP that I can use? I dont see Nemenyi or Conover as an optionThanks for your time.
